I've seen a few Germany shirts about today.

I've only seen one since the tournament started.

This can't be a coincidence.

Haha Im staring at one in the metro right now

and the person wearing jt couldnt seem less german if she tried

Damn, that Germany game was amazing. Unique and likely memorable experience.

I'm not from Germany, but I've supported their team for as long as I've seen world cups (which would be 5 counting this one). I don't follow the sport hardcore, but world cups always get me hyped (basically the only sporting event that does). What a game.

Robin better have a better game against Argentina. Need to take whatever chances we get, should be able to counter attack Argentina. RVP and Robben key.

I don't find Inter dislikeable. But I don't particularly like them, either. They're just a bit of a non-entity for me. Thanks for Coutinho, though.

Regarding Evra, it's a good sign that United are going to give Shaw lots of game time. It's the only way to develop. He'll make mistakes along the way but I believe LVG is a good enough coach to get them out of him.

I'm fairly pleased Evra's off. Wasn't that happy he got an extension although could see the practical logic in it. I feel like out of him, Rio and Vidic, he's the one that's most past it and certainly most capable of fucking up.

It puts us back in need of buying cover but it's not a huge issue by any means. At least I won't need to shout at his defensive lapses anymore.

lol @ that Müller gif. He is marvellous.

Can't believe we are selling Toni Kroos when he is finally starting to deliver on his poential. #Fuckbayern.

I'm glad he's going.

But I'm also happy that Germany showed his true potential yesterday. Even Özil wasn't too bad.

Maybe Löw pulled a Herberger and told them to wait until the later games to show their real power haha. Okay, probably not but the whole thing reminded me of that.

Easier to just keep him around for a year and then look to replace next summer.

Suppose he'll want to leave if he can get games though.

I hope Vermaelen is the LB/CB cover option. Please.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Has it been mentioned that Tony Barrett says Spurs have made a late move to sign Origi?

Yeah, it seems we are willing to offer him PL football this season rather than a loan back to Lille.

It won't happen but at least we are trying. Depressing how we can't even steal Liverpool's targets these days.

I don't know, he seems pretty keen to be in the PL this year. You not sending him back on loan could sway it. I'm not sure Lille would accept the offer though, as I presume they want him back.

one can only hope! But of course, everything played right into our cards yesterday. the Brazilians didn't know how to react after a goal, their god-given destiny was being taken away!, so the Germans went and scored another. And another...

Özil was ok, and good at linking up with other players, but why is he so afraid to score? I began to feel bad for him. I wonder if Draxler coming in is an indication...

Yesterday was Heynckes' Bayern. I nearly forgot how much I loved them.

Arsène Wenger had a private meeting with Alexis Sánchez during the World Cup - where he 'seduced' him & convinced him join Arsenal! (Sport)

Interesting. I know Arsene has sway among players but isn't this against the rules? We hadn't actually bidded for the player until after the world cup so I didn't think such conversations were allowed.
