Eh, while Hull aren't bad, I think this is a bit too kind to Liverpool. There's still little to no fluidity in the attack. The defence struggled to handle Diame. Allen and Lallana seemed largely ineffective.

One thing that Rodgers must surely realise now is that Balotelli doesn't work as the lone guy at the top. He looked far more involved and dangerous when he had Lambert, Coutinho, Henderson and Sterling.

The game shows once and for all imo that it should either be 2 up front with Balotelli+1, or Balotelli shouldn't be in the team. In which case it's Lambert or Borini on their own. Which is pathetic regardless.
