I think hes a little underrated, specially for a starter in the English squad.

He's a striker that doesn't score anywhere near enough goals.

He's a serious athlete and has good link up skills, but he'll never do the job that's really required of him. It's why he's played on the wing so much. He's useful to have as he offers a more direct threat, but if you have a decent striker then he becomes a more peripheral figure.

Schurrle wasn't very good, but why did we not take off Mikel at HT? This isn't a "I hate Mikel" comment, we needed a goal, Mikel was never going to provide that because its not what he does.

Why did we not bring Drogba and Remy on earlier? We never went for it, at all. I don't think Southampton were even that good (good, but not that good). Its always the same when we drop points, they don't take enough shots and when we do its usually fucking stupid shite like Ivanovic's blaster in the 73rd minute that is never going to go in. We didn't create enough, we didn't do enough.

It isn't a terrible result, but considering how easy Chelsea actually got chances in the second half it kind of is. It should have been a win.

Luis was fine when attacking, actually he was great there for the most part. Defensively he seems to weirdly lack quite a bit though.
