absolutely

Even though 3 is a hollow empty action game masquerading as an RPG the previous 2 especially the first one are great games

Really interesting world building, some good characters, fun side quests.

Mass Effect 1 felt like a world I wanted to explore before Bioware turned it into a series of corridors interrupted with arse clenchingly shit dialogue with Garrus about 'bro' it ing up and Tumblr level rubbish with EDI n Joker

But aye 1 is cracking. Buy buy buy

Yeah, he got this role in 2011. He has tweeted in the past about how he know has to find a balance between producer/businessman and artist. He does have the power and autonomy to do whatever he wants, but he has to make money first, (hence Metal Gear as a series that'll never end).

The shooting controls are much tighter after the first game btw. Absolutely give it a go for £3 though.

I honestly haven't followed that one (MGSV), it's just that every little bit of news is celebrated like a revelation. I mean, I'm sure it'll be great, Kojima is capable and the MGS formula is fun.
Maybe it's just not for me. That's probably it.

nah ignoring the messages Kojima has the characters monologue it's pretty easy to follow. But even then you only need MGS3 and PW to enjoy MGSV, and those are pretty much bs free.

My biggest worry with MGSV is the difficulty


If there are a multitude of missions available at any given time, with big rewards for taking on harder missions, I hope you can't cheese the harder missions and unlock things which make the rest of it a breeze.

And make it much, much more advantagous to sneak through missions, MGS4 didn't punish the player at all for shooting their way through it aside from the emblems at the end iirc.

Mind you, I played it on Normal so maybe you're much less survivable and powerful on Hard, and have to avoid fighting enemies.

I got the plat for it, which meant finishing it like 10 times(plus the other 10 times I finished it before the trophy patch)...but I don't remember too much lol.

I know that going for the big boss emblem was a bitch. Hardest difficulty, no alerts, no kills, finish under 5 hours etc
