We've not been brilliant but still 3-0 up. Definitely a better performance than our recent displays.

Di Maria is playing better but still wasteful and Rooney has been poor.

Rooney is doing what Roo always does. He has a decent pass range from deep but he is shit in tight spaces and has no awareness, he also doesn't penetrate like a AM/CF should.

It would not be the worst thing in the world is what I'm saying. The problem with him is our entire attack is focused around him, so if he has a bad game we look like shit.

Also doesn't help that Ronaldo's knees no longer last him a full season.

Not sure I agree with your opinion, our teams weakness doesnt stem from Ronaldo, I think its fatigue kicking in. We've been playing a lot since last year especially given Carlos non existent rotation.
