PSG is around top 6 or top 8 teams
Enough to dominate Ligue 1 and most middle teams in the Champions League., but if we play Real, Barca, or even United and Atletico we may get killed

If Martial can stop being huffy at times him and Rashford on the park together should be insane. Although, clashing positions I guess.
His dribbling is better than Rashfords, as is his finishing.

Different teams and players but I don't feel he did particularly great job at Dortmund either. Granted, purely in terms of squad Bayern is a loooot more stacked and thus he can likely achieve better results (at least in theory).

After all the praise and media comments, I was beginning to believe PSG was going to be the new Barca, but it's pretty clear they're several steps lower than that level.
And yep, Bayern is a shadow of what used to be.

We bargained everything not to miss on Neymar and Mbappe which I get, but what the team really needs is: a world class defensive mid, a good centerback and a world class keeper

Bayern won't sack Carlo though.
We need a couple of more defeats until Hoeness and Rummenigge accept the fact that Carlo worsened the squad to Klinsmann/Gaal levels of bad.
Yeah, he's better on the ball than rash, but Rashford generally puts in more of a shift when played on that left hand side.
Both have scored a nice few goals though so hopefully confidence is huge and it continues.
Not seen the game as my little one has been hitching a fit just caught the goals. Just lol.

I think you're underestimating both PSG and Bayern in this game.
PSG scored very early so they didn't need to attack pass that point. They can sit back and go on counter where the forward trio can be deadly, as shown at Cavani's goal.
Bayern was forced to attack (although they had a team set up for counter) and manage to create a lot of opportunities wasted by Muller and Lewandowski.
The left side of Bayern's defence seems particularly weak.

I could see Martial being a Giggs (number 11). His crossing is pretty decent. I'm still convinced Rashford is a striker through and through. His last man movement is brilliant. That's where he makes up against Martial's dribbling, Rashfords runs are top notch.
I think Lolkaku is into double figures with appearances when international is counted.

In this game , bayern , just closed the middle field , so psg can't play like it is used to.
Ancelloti certainly made that tactic because he knows psg well .

Pep just delayed what was obvious since 2015. Now that we play with no system but individual class we witness the downfall. Being toothless and totally unorganized in defence when Thiago and Tolisso not holding position and forget to mark Cavani is clearly bad coaching. The system is not there. It looks alright in possession but once PSG gets the ball in midfield our slow ass defenders play 1vs1 against Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe, when both DLPs should help but cant, because they don't hold their position. This is what happened exactly the same way against Barca in 2008.

and this is a dumbass comment. Lewy has like a 70% conversion per game overall w Bayern and 77% in CL for them. Only Messi and Ronaldo have a better conversation rate since they're basically 1:1
Ehh I agree with the system thing. But Klinsi era especially is a comical comparison, and van gaal bayern was even worse.. remember than van buyten was a normal starter for the team.
This team needs pace. You start 1 of Coman or Robben every game, if not both. Just a awfullineup.

Always a shame when the people in charge are too stubborn to avoid possibly "burning" a season per say (not that a defeat today KO's Bayern in CL though).
Yeah one of my favourite things to do when I'm not supporting a team playing. It's like Soccer Saturday but actually with the football.
That percentage doesn't cover the huge number of balls he loses because he's too egoistic to pass in a counter. Before even becoming a chance.

It's not just about burning a season, they also have a good relationship with Ancelotti.
