HAHAHAHAHA

City's commercial revenue was £112.1m last year. The shirt/stadium sponsorship makes up £40m of that.. so presumably the majority is coming from outside sources (although there is some coming from other "internal sources" no doubt.. I know aabar has sponsor boards). It should continue to grow significantly in the coming years.

Looking at the third kit again I think it's gorgeous.

The club has 4 or 5 other UAE based sponsors also.

City are doing alot of good work commercially, no doubt, but the UAE/Abu Dhabi influence is significant.

Edit - Ah, you edited that in. Nvm.

I know you guys are sick of these, but I find Reggie's facial expressions hilarious in this gif

@Kyoufu. Oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

:looooooool Thought you were Letters. I remember him complaining earlier about these GIFs saying they aren't funny. Then I got confused as to why he would post one himself.

Here is the leaked England kit Viva mentioned.

Nike have a huge problem with kits being leaked.

My dad showed a picture of the apparently leaked City training kit to a Nike rep who was at the Etihad and they got really up tight asking where he got the pic from. My dad said she explained that they've got a big problem with leaks coming from factories etc and it's something they've been told they must clamp down on. But how?!

To be honest why does it really matter?

I think it does matter. No one wants their product leaking before it's meant to hit shops.

I don't think the clubs would be happy with it either. Some clubs do marketing campaigns working up to launch and tease the kits, but that doesn't work if it's leaked months in advance.

They're all leaked, often in the most mundane ways.

Its never anything exciting like prototype designs being burned onto CDs and labeled as Lady Gaga albums. Its always something stupid and entirely the fault of the company, like leaving the first 'prints' on a stand and letting people with cameras see them, then acting surprised when the inevitable happens.

They won't sell as many of the soon to be outdated current kits because people will wait for the new one.

Hard to say. By the time the leaks are starting to happen, the current season's kits are being reduced in price anyway. I have 3 City shirts but none are the home kit because they cost too much here. :( I might try and buy one at the tail end of this season though since we won't be getting any more Umbro shirts. *sniff*

People might think next season's kit is more appealing, so they hold off on buying the current one.

So, in reverse, our new leaks could be a piece of marketing genius by Warrior, saying to people 'hey, next years' kits are shite, so get the current ones on offer while you can even though they're a bit rubbish as well'?

Let me dream
