interesting story, the german national team is doing an USA visit with two matches there after the season. But Dortmund is in the CL Final, Bayern at least in the national Cup final and Madrid still has league at that time.

So the national squad will be without Reus, Götze, Hummels, Bender, Schmelzer, Gündogan, Neuer, Schweinsteiger, Gomez, Kroos, Müller, Lahm, Boateng (maybe I forgot a Bayern player, there are so many), Özil and Khedira. Should be an interesting team ^^

--------------Adler---------------
Jung - Höwedes - Merte - Jansen
-------L. Bender - Rode---------
Herrman - Draxler - Schürrle
--------------Klose---------------

bench: Poldi, Kießling (uhm, yeah), Sam, Neustädter, Aogo, Kolasinac, Westerman, Oczipka, Ter-Stegen, M. Kruse

Maybe something like this (still pretty good, imo). Could be the debut for a bunch of people.

Well said. It should also be noted that he's made some great signings such as Ozil, Khedira, DiMa (arguable, perhaps but he's incredible when he's in form), Coentrao, Lopez, and Modric.

He's spent well for the most part. Got Khedira, Di Maria and Ozil for about 50m combined, Varane for 10m will be an amazing bargain, Lopez has been great. Modric hasn't worked out that well so far but he's certainly worth the money in my view. Not a fan of Coentrao personally but there's worse players.

Ronaldo been on fire in the last few years, Ozil, Di Maria, Alonso, Marcelo, Ramos and Pepe all improved under him. Think the job he's done at Madrid is a little underrated.

I'd love Mou to stay one more year there and (obv if United don't win it), get the Decima. It would be a shame if a manager of his talent didnt get it. Fought colossally for all that power and getting rid of the hierarchy above him at a club like Madrid, and the press have been on his back since day one because he isn't an advocate of tiki taka. Bested Barcelona last year, better than them in head to heads this year, and the same level in the CL three years in a row after so many round of 16 failures. But he'll be judged on the CL and it's a little unfair I think, considering just how good the Barca, Bayern and Dortmund sides he's come up against are in the last three years. 3-1, 3-3 and 4-3 on aggregate, it's come down to an absolute wonder goal by Messi the first year, penalties the next and one goal in this one; individual mistakes and missed chances. The view that he's failed is entirely wrong in my opinion.
Good post, I'm instantly reminded of Gerrard. Great player, great leader and one of the best English players in the last 20 years in his position but he'll be judged by not winning the PL.

It seems like Ferguson was much better at getting the best out of Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez with that flexible front 3 in Europe than Mourinho has been with Ronaldo and his two strikers. Mostly because Madrid players don't like tracking back, I guess.

A shame if a manager of his talent didn't get it? He's not retiring. If he's good enough, if he "deserves" it, he'll win it again. Whether with Madrid or any other club.

Anyways, it's all a moot point because he lost the dressing room a long time ago so I guess, in that respect, he's overachieved with a group of players that clearly don't like him.

Someone seems mad. Better hope that silly juve fan is wrong then if thats how you feel about Benz. Hell even I want him to be wrong. Why should benz belittle himself going to a small team?

Juventus fan hahahaha

It was all over the spanish press. I dont know if youve noticed, but NO ONE here believes all your "insider" tooting. Stop it, youve been embarrasing yourself all this season.

It's an unusual moment. Barca fans can't laugh at Madrid fans. :lol

And Madrid fans can't laugh at us either.

We both suck. :lol

Why are you doing shitty national team formations on such a night?

The amount of Real supporters genuinely thinking Higuain and Benzema are good enough for Real is hilarious, hope the management keeps thinking the same cause you're never going to win CL with them.

I can honestly say that According to Jim is funnier than Arrested Development. The rest? Not so much. But we need those shows to put pressure on the few good shows,we need competition.

Instead of AD they should've brought back Better Off Ted.

Well there you go. I only took exception to the hyperbole. Not that I agree with some of the sentiment expressed in this post re: According to Jim for example. Still would have loved Better Off Ted to be resurrected but not at the expense of AD. In a better world we'd have had both.

that jersey gave me nightmares when i was in second grade because that dortmund team dominated one of my favourite united sides home and away in 97 and went on to fuck up juve in the final. juve were the team to beat then and seeing them humbled made me fear a team for the first time

16 years later im pulling for these german cunts to go all way. how things change

I think just as a fan of Mou, I'd like to see the myth continue, to see him win three different ones with three different clubs, to be the one that delivered the tenth, to have fought all the bureaucratic shit and the egos and the dressing room and come out of it with the ultimate prize. But that's me being a romantic because I like him.

Anyway I think he's done a great job all things considered.

lol @ Mou saying he leaves because the people hates him. He leaves because he was unable to win the Champions League with the most expensive team in the world. Most overrated coach ever and biggest lie in today's football.

Benzema is a good striker with great potential, but as a player as opposed to a goalscorer I think. Higuain is average. Always has been. No idea how people think he's top class at all.

OMG CL final. We were definitely lucky in the beginning with Madrid missing all those chances. But our performance got better and better until we missed some huge opportunities, too. Imagine if Real scored another one... In London, we need to be efficient like in the first leg against Madrid, when we didn't create more chances but scored four. Well, in the end it all worked out. Best players on the pitch: Weidenfeller and Hummels. Hope Bender and Götze will be back for the final, we really need them against Barca. ;)

At least he won't go hide in the US for a year while crying about how the other guys back home were bullies.

Benzema is good, but Real needs a fucking world class striker and neither of the two are that.

Loooool. Pep is the biggest pussy in football.

And yeah agreed. Cavani or Falcao at the tip of this team and they're incredible.

Oh child, look at all dat forest beyond that tree. I don't blame you though, most people don't see it either.

Where'd you get that from? RedCafe?

Daily Mail.

It's probs been taken out of context or mistranslated but thats not as fun.

RedCafe is shite. I only go there for transfer rumours and to see who thinks our midfield is actually acceptable for a top European club.

The second leg against Manchester was shown in german TV a couple of weeks ago. That was the match defender Jürgen Köhler got this nickname Fußballgott (football god). Lars Ricken scored for Dortmund. Everyone expected him to be THE german player back then.

I don't like those neon colors btw but they will always be tied to our biggest victory... yet.

I haven't even mentioned a thing from my insiders today. Haven't been in contact for awhile now mostly due to the my avatar. everything i spoke today is either from tabloids or writing on wall or catching up with a few blokes on what i missed on football(that juve guy). recently mostly the latter. but seriously anyone could have seen benz leaving light years away. cant say on higuain though. I honestly thought he was sure thing to stay. I called mou leaving much earlier this season before anyone else and from the looks of things I will soon be vindicated. He won't stay beyond this season. the only support he has is the president and flo is only supporting him so far to save face.

I never asked anyone to believe in what I say, just make of it what you will. not my problem you take it as matter of fact.

Meanwhile I fear Ancelotti. He is stupid enough to bench Varane just because he's too young. he has a bad rep with youth in general and though I don't believe he will actually do this, its not below him for it to happen. bastard. stay in psg PoS sod.
