The bottom... like... fucking 7 teams is so hard to predict because so many of them play each other in the next 2 weeks. We have Stoke and Southampton. Wigan and Villa play. Southampton and Stoke play.
If it was purely down to Wigan, I don't think 40 would be enough. But because of teams having to take points off each other and the other game being against tough opponents (Stoke-Spurs, Wigan-Arse, Villa-Chelsea, Norwich-City...) it might just be...

I'm hoping you lose against QPR, and Wigan take enough points from Swansea and Arsenal that you could still go down on the last day. That should give you something to fight for.
It's a small bonus for us (and I guess Arsenal) that Chelsea play Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday, whereas we will have played Saturday-Wednesday-Sunday. 3 in 8 days vs 3 in 6.

I reckon he would be second choice, and e would get more than enough games rotating wigh Villa. I'm convinced Suarez, if he stays, will play on the wing like he did at Ajax. I think Rodger has always struggled with the idea of him leading the line, and having 3 competent strikers means he wouldn't have to.
