Cmon Crystal Palace. I want Ian Hollaway in the premier league again

I don't. Overrated manager who plays up to his media persona in lieu of actual talent. Done well at one club in his career. Fucked up Freedman's work at Palace a fair amount. They should be easily safe in second or third.

Unsure if intensifier.

Just read now that Chelsea (and Benfica as I understand) will only get 9800 final tickets each. Won't even make up half of Amsterdam Arena's capacity. What a fucking joke.

Ludicrous decision. It's fucking embarrassing and both clubs should complain to UEFA and threaten to boycott it or some shit... until they realise UEFA don't give a fuck about the Europa League.

90,000 seater stadium, Wembley is. Can't see the fans getting more than 20,000 tickets each or so.

Football is slowly but surely becoming something for sponsors and rich people to watch live, not actual supporters. It's a disgrace and the reason finals always have such shit atmosphere.

This is a fair point but that Blackpool side were constantly entertaining, much more than most of the recently promoted sides (minus Swansea)

Eh, their games were yeah. I don't think they were necessarily a very good team, just that their gung ho approach was pretty refreshing. Palace aren't the same side though at all. Not really very good to watch apart from Zaha and Bolassie. He hasn't done a very good job this year considering where they were when he joined.

I wouldn't particularly mind them up, but Brighton and Watford are far better sides to watch.

I love these end of the season Soccer Saturday's. Bottom of the Championship is crazy. Glad to see Wednesday looking like they'll stay up.

It's such a shitty thing to do, all because they want to preserve seats for their damn sponsors and corporate families, what a bunch of cunts. The finals are nothing without lots of fans from both sides and this is precisely what they want to destroy. This shit would only fly with City at Etihad Stadium because 10 or 20 000 fans would make no difference there.

Bolton losing 2-0, whats going on.

11 points between play-offs and relegation, wow.

:lol

It's just awful but I can't see anything getting changed any time soon unless fans just don't pay the money to go to the games.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino believes his side are capable of launching an unlikely bid to secure Champions League football next year by finishing in the top four.

Saints fans believed the sacking of Nigel Adkins in January was harsh and largely unjustified for a manager who looked on course to steer the south coast club to safety, but Pochettino has overseen an impressive run of form since he took charge.

"In the next two years I want to be back in the Champions League with Southampton and I believe it’s not unreal.

"We are a well organised side, with great belief in our abilities and it’s not an accident that we have beaten Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City recently."

eeeeehhhhhh

Fans should boycott, teams should try to put a requirement and UEFA need new people to run their administrative body, people who are more passionate about football than just milking money. 25 000 to both teams and then 3 000 to the rich cunts would have been perfect. Ridiculous that a normal match in a domestic league will have more atmosphere than a final in an european competition.

I'm no Championship conessieur, but I don't think this Hull side will do too well in the Prem.

I think they'll be horrifically boring, as will Cardiff. Will look to finish 17th through defensive solidity. Might do it, but it'll be turgid stuff all season. One or both will go down.

If Brighton go up and stay up, they'll be around for a while I think. Great infrastructure, good manager who people will want to come play for, good style of play, lovely new stadium, only team around in a metropolitan and popular city.

Bolton getting one back, rather see them than Leicester.

2-2 now!

Great stuff, they play some nice football as well.

Have I just read it right on BBC? 16 minutes of injury time at Watford in the first half? wtfffff

And Palace drawing as well

Yeah, that injury to the keeper really delayed the game, I guess. Hopefully Watford come back in that game. Fuck Hull.

The Mirror are saying Fergie pushed back his surgery because the Glazers wanted him to go to Asia on preseason to appease sponsors.

I don't want to believe this story.
