What is transfer deadline day?
It's the day which sees the closure of the transfer window, the last chance to buy players.

What can we expect?
Jim White, meltdowns and maybe players moving clubs.

How can you sum up deadline day in pictures?

With betting suspended on Kaka's return to Milan, Manchester City have been cut from 8/1 to 6/4 to sign Stephan El Sharaawy today in Sky Bet’s Transfer Specials. See all our transfer odds here.

Could we really pull that off on the last day?

His position preference seems like a copy of Jovetic, I dont get it. Rather need a true LM IMO.

If Javi Garcia is leaving surely City need to buy a DM too. Demichelis can play there though.

You know Sky take this too seriously when we get pictures of Jim White rolling up in his car and entering the building.

AS confirms we re-opened negotiations with Liverpool yesterday. Also keep an eye on Rodrigo, we might re-buy him in the last minute to Real Madrid.

Almost certainly Suarez will be Madrid's big target next summer. All Madrid are doing now is feeding info in drips and drabs to make damn sure everyone, including us and the player, know they're coming next year.

Isn't that what one Allen, Joseph is for?

It's a big ask for him to cover both for the whole season, especially if Hendo is going to play further forward. I rate Allen, but he lacks the physical presence someone like the Assassin would offer.

Fine by me. Spurs have set a wonderful precedent by milking Madrid for as much money as possible. £55m and Morata would be lovely thanks, Mr Perez.

Happy for him to go once he's helped us win the league. 35 more wins lads get to it.

Özil to Arsenal would be an immense strengthening for them, but can anyone see Wenger spend 45m on a player?

Their midfield would be great, but I feel they would still be short both up top and at the back. Podolski being out certainly won't help that.
