Good lord. What are Liverpool playing at?

No way on earth Sakho was worth in excess of £20 mil, despite his versatility. Nice to see the "Liverpool way" of overspending on dross (Carroll, Henderson, Downing) is still intact.
He wasn't "in excess of £20 mil" though. He was somewhere between £15m and £18m. Sky quoting £15m but who knows.

Great news for Arsenal-fans. I understand that there is verbal agreement between Arsenal and Özil. My source: Just signature missing!

Seems like Ozil is pretty much done. Will they get Di Maria too?

UPDATE AT GILLINGHAM:

Hearing that Wigan will be attempting to spend a huge chunk of the McCarthy money on Jordan Rhodes, should the <--------Fellalini<----McCarthy deal go through for Everton.

Real Madrid have terminated the contract of Antonio Adan.

Also, Di Maria ain't getting sold. Wasn't it an unreliable source in the first place?

he took the bail out earlier today

he didn't sign yet, that is why I asked if he is a lost cause already

If he doesn't want much competition for his spot then I'm kind of ok with him leaving
but he's a good players and could solve a lot of situations in a matter of seconds :(

Where's the Keisuke Honda love? That guy is wasted in Russia and guarenteed quality. Not till January though, right?

Manchester United's transfer dealings have been terrible and I'm not sure why they haven't been called out on it. I've no expectation that Moyes will do anything other than continue their further mediocrity in Europe. Fellaini's decent but he's not going to win them the Champions League. Awful. The guy just doesn't have the eye for a player like Ferguson. You could see that in his Everton days as well.

Destroyer of the transfer window.[/QUOTE]
As much as we've laughed at him, if Everton decide to throw their season away and let you have their two best players on deadline day then you'll still end up with a decent haul. I'm sure you'll bring in at least 1 more player too.

You know what this transfer window is missing?

I don't agree so much with this - McCarthy + cash is a brilliant exchange for Fellaini.
