For those who missed it and those who want to relive it alike. Watch the incredible match that will be remembered for years to come. (I would put your player on full screen as to hide the navigation bar. The thought that a fight could end at anytime adds to the excitment. Also, shall rehost more as requested.)

Spike is also showing the fight again tonight for those who prefer a big screen and to see the post-fight analysis/celebration for both Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin.

great fight. UFC should have more fights like that where the guys stand toe to toe and just go at it, i think it'd go a long way towards exanding their appeal.

and stephan bonnar looks like if the guy from the Joe Schmoe Show got in shape.

That is exactly what is wrong with MMA in the US... a complete lack of appreciation for how much better ground fighting is.

i have an appreciation for ground fighting, and ground fights can be just as exciting when the right guys are doing it, but nobody likes when two guys just lay on eachother for 10 minutes with no action. All im saying is a little variety is always a good thing.

Whether fighting on the ground or standing, it's most exciting when a fighter goes for the finish. That's what made this fight so awesome, as both fighters were actively trying to finish the other the whole fight.

Whether you like grappling or stand-up more is personal taste. I wouldn't say Japan likes ground fighting more than stand-up so the problem with MMA in the US is just understanding the ground game.
