Looking at the Font that Temper Tantrum uses, I feel like i'm about to get some horrible flashbacks to the PS1-Era.

The balance here is even worse! It's sooo easy to get swarmed by zombies and stun locked and if you're playing solo that's basically you fucked. I had to reduce to easy D:

Which era do you prefer? That's usually the biggest selling point for what game you want to pick up if you've never tried the series before. From Napoleon onwards, the underlying mechanics have kind of not gone through too huge of changes. Although Empire probably has the biggest map of all the games, so that's also an option, it's just that there's a significant amount of mechanics changes from Empire to Napoleon.
Shogun 2 vanilla is Sengoku Jidai - so swords/arrows/spears/horses. Very focused map, very tightly balanced cause the bulk of the unit roster is very much the same for all the factions.
Fall of the Samurai is very late 19th century warfare - men in bright uniforms lining up to shoot each other with guns, artillery, ironclads and all that; Empire/Napoleon are early 17th to 19th which the difference isn't too huge or unless you prefer Empire's super large map (eastern seaboard to central america, continental europe and then some and indian subcontinent) or you prefer that you have white people kill each other in your video games.
Rome 2 covers a lot of ground in classical 'peak' Roman history and even a few centuries before but it's mostly standard formation warfare, so back to swords/spears/arrows/horses mostly, but it has a lot of faction variety and the map is pretty huge and covers quite a bit of ground, has a few campaigns that cover a lot of different periods with smaller, focused maps.
Attila is similar to Rome 2 but it's less an empire-building 'paint-the-map' expanding grand strategy game and more of a survival strategy game (or at least a good part of it is) set in the Fall of Western Rome era.

After some time with windirstat I saved a good 50go of disk space (astounding the fucking shit some softwares leaves behind)... but there is Just Cause 3 releasing and I don't think I can get 100+ Go of space even with a good hard look at my hd junk.

So was the original apparently. Sounds like you would have to have played the game before to win, never saw a flan say incredible, unless they do in XIII and I haven't gotten that far.
