Could someone please help me avatarize this. I suppose similar to the one I have now, except with transparent edges. I can't seem to do it properly and it keeps coming up with the edges :S Thanks in advance!

I really dig the idea of a transparent background it looks even cooler this way but I think evilisk was right with the avatar limits for this picture :S it's a tiny bit small

I am trying to use GIMP to make my avatars background transparent. When I save and upload, it doesn't save. Any ideas?

You stay within the size limit? 100x120 pixels? Try file->export as... instead of file->save

Can someone take my current avatar and just swap the colors of the 3d glasses. I'd do it myself, but I don't know how to keep it transparent

Also it depends on the program. If it's Photoshop, then just untick the Background layer when you save it as .png and it should pop up as transparent.
If it's not Photoshop, I think all I can really say is make sure it's saved in PNG first.
