Would someone kindly make me an avatar?

With this image: link

Trying to fit as much as possible without sacrificing quality and sharpness.

Try one avatar with her face covering most of it, and another one with the almost full picture.

Greatly appreciate it!

What do you guys use to get rid of backgrounds in certain images and how do you make an image transparent on GAF?

You can use whatever photo editing software you like. For transparency you will need a file type that supports an Alpha channel, so something like a PNG will do.

Not sure if I can request an avatar I haven't come up with, but I'll do it anyway.

Can you guys come up with an avatar I could use? It doesn't really have to be based on my username or anything. It can be something that just looks cool.

Thanks in advance.

hey dudes! I could probably do this myself, but I'm lazy and don't want to download an image editor.

Can someone erase that black spot in the corner of my avatar? or maybe throw on a border if that looks better?

edit: just kidding, got it done! sorry!

Question guys,

What's the best way to resize an image to the max pixels height/width (100x120) and not make the image look distorted?

I tried figuring it out myself but there seems to be a lot of things that needs to be done and isn't completely simple.

Not sure what image editor you use but in PS you need to have the "constrain proportions box checked when you resize to keep the aspect ratio.
If you're resizing for a gaf avatar you might need to mess around with the crop tool to take full advantage of the 100 x 120 limits.

I was thinking of a couple of options:

Crop it to height/width numbers that are divisible by 100x120 so that when you resize it, it will maintain the aspect ratio without any distortion. I noticed that this doesn't work for all images because of different sized pics.

Copy the artwork on the image onto a separate blank 100x120 template and resize the artwork on that template. I almost had it when I tried this but I was working with a transparent image and I didn't know how to resize.

I'm working with GIMP by the way, since I don't have Photoshop.
