Transparent background. Also twitter size too plzz.

Twitter will resize the avatar for you to 73 x 73, you can crop & move a mask about to select what you want in your avatar, as Twitter recommends a decent size file/image to upload in the first instance, i have made this to this forums avatar default size.

There ya go, make sure it stays .png and you have the right dimensions for it to be transparent on gaf

Thought this was the best place to ask this. Is there any way to optimise avatars better for Retina displays on GAF? I'm using Photoshop CS6 for what it's worth. Avatars I make usually look really sharp and great on my computer but as soon as they get uploaded they become significantly blurrier on my Macbook Pro Retina.

I have had a go.

I found it difficult due to the foreground image being the avatar size, so couldn't adjust the size to accommodate the inserted images in the background, maybe someone more skilled could have a look at this please, to see if it could be improved?
