I didn't know where to ask this but since it involves Forza, I thought I'd pop in here with a question. I'm on my way to 100%ing the game with all of the Achievements but the one for signing 4 radio stations is still locked. I have the game and my save saved to an external harddrive. Would it be possible for me to unplug that and install the game internally and play up to that point and see if it unlocks? I know this might sound kind of dumb and I should know this but I'd appreciate some help.

It actually showed up for me yesterday as well. Don't know why it too so long to show up though as I updated the game as soon as the update went up.
Just about anything you can trigger counts as a co-op event.
Find a co-op session, drive through a speed camera, jump a danger sign, etc. Doesn't have to be a race event.

I think zorbsie one of the forzaGAF community leaders probably knows that, it could just be he ends up with idiots so wanted to make it easier...
The challenge specifies that you need to complete a coop race in a Japanese car. So driving through a speed trap wouldn't work. But good advice for the next time the challenge is complete a coop event.

I'm shocking at drifting challenges - took me half an hour to get 3 stars on a drifting section. Can anyone recommend a car + setup for future drifting challenges?

1974 Toyota Celica GT with a tune by Don Joewon Song. 3-starred all the drift zones with ease using that.
Anyone up for some quick co-op? I can't find a single session where players aren't either idling and goofing around or setting up races in classes with no Japanese cars. Just need one.

You could always try the auction house, but otherwise I think you're SOL.
Christ, they're discounting the UE by half but aren't discounting any of the DLC. As someone who bought the standard edition at launch I feel kind of screwed over...

The DLC was on sale not long back, picked up the expansion pass for £14.62 in June. Car pass hasn't been on sale since April, but was down to £12.50 then. Wouldn't be surprised to see both make a return to the sales in the next week or two, ready for those that bought the game on sale this week.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem on PC but I bought the Ultimate Edition from the windows store today and I can't install or download the VIP Pass or any other DLC even though the store says I own it. When I try to go to Blizzard Mountain or the Hot Wheels DLC in-game it brings me to a purchase screen. Anybody know a fix to this?
Also I've tried installing the VIP pass separately in the Windows store but nothing happens when I press the download button.

Wow, I actually managed to drop the framerate to 61 for a bit in a race, even though I usually hover between 74-90. Wonder I should drop MSAA to x4...
How far are you into the game? I think you need to have unlocked and upgraded a few Horizon Bases before you can access them. I bought the expansion pack yesterday and though I didn't enter the new areas I got my cars.

On PC, you need to make sure you actually install both expansions after you buy them.
To access expansions in game, you need to have played about the first hour of campaign: you must earn 26,900 fans by completing the early events and PR stunts, after which point a second festival site can be built. You select the second site, either Surfers Paradise or The Outback, then drive there, "Build" the festival site, then exit. That will trigger a cinematic showing you the expansion(s), and a map slam animation showing where each expansion's fast travel point is.
well the last Forza Horizon 3 DLC is in fact the Hoonigan pack which I believed was leaked via dev build. Fans who pre-order Forza Motorsport 7 digitally will receive Hoonigan Car Packs for both games at no additional cost. The Forza Horizon 3 Hoonigan Car Pack will become available on Aug. 15 for free in the Xbox Store for Forza Motorsport 7 pre-order customers, with the Forza Motorsport 7 Hoonigan Car Pack available to play on Sept. 29 for Ultimate Edition owners through early access, and Oct. 3 for Standard Edition owners.
It's also still standalone at $6.99.

Yeah, I am not that bothered really, I would rather have the model car with the physical version that is also a steelbook, I will just get the DLC for Horizon 3, I don't think the cars fit with Forza 7 anyway.
Kinda odd they put the Ute in Forza 7 Motorsport and not Horizon 3. I'm guessing this is the car ( I may be wrong, but this is what I get when I google'd Hoonigan Ute)

If you already preordered digital download, you're covered. The Hoonigan packs are what was referred to as "bonus preorder content" prior to the Hoonigan reveal.

The Faded Feathers event - complete online adventure in classic racer - requires you to fully complete an online adventure, ie do all 4 events which really means doing an online adventure twice - once the first time when you partially join, and a second when you vote on a new one and fully complete it. Make sure you have an A, S1, and S2 classic racer in case the voting goes to a different class.
Its really one of the only two things I dislike about forzathon events - ones that require you to fully complete an online adventure instead of just getting to the final rewards screen, and ones that require you to WIN an online event/race/adventure. I hope they tweak that kind of stuff for the future.
Otherwise pretty easy, you can double dip Season Opener with Faded. For More Than Lucky, you simply have to do 20 lucky escapes which are easy - drift, then get a near miss (doesn't have to be great or awesome, any near miss is fine) on another car. Just run off to the highway area and zoom down with your favorite car, drifting and getting near misses 20 times.

I had a $50 Amazon card burning a hole in my pocket so I bought the Ultimate Edition. I'm not even sure exactly what I got. I see my spin amounts are doubling which is cool. I see a lot of cars that I get.

I wish I didn't have to "buy" and download each car individually. I guess it's giving me an opportunity to choose a design for each one as I buy it? Which is fine but at least give me a "download every car you own with a stock design" or something. This is time consuming.
Lot of cool cars, though. I guess buying the Ultimate Edition after all the DLC is out is bad if you really want to give each car its fair due as they come out, rather than trying to give a chance to 70+ cars all at once.
My biggest complaint about this game is the same as Horizon 2 - I hate the photo challenge. I hate doing it and yet I can't help myself when I see a car with that icon over the top of it. The loading screens suck and the fact that I can take any crappy picture of a car and be rewarded for it is dumb. What is the point, other than adding pointless busy work to the game.

Horizon 1 had you pose cars in front of locations like a real promo. One of the things that game did better than the following two.
I just take a quick photo or two at the beginning of a race and then get a few new cars that way. I usually don't bother if I see a random car driving around.

Weather controls would be great! In sunny conditions the game looks good, but when it rains and the sun sets... gawddamn it looks fantastic.

Set a bucket list challenge to the weather you want, put a 30min time limit on it, then ignore the objective you set. You can drive around (traffic-free, too) with set weather.
