I made a deal with the support agent to refund it to my MS Store account and watch the account and make sure I purchased it, they agreed and got permission to do so after about a minute wait time.

It works. Refund and re-purchase.

Having so much fun, my only problem is trying to decide what to drive! I love the updated customization with wide body kits and updated sounds for exhaust, super and turbochargers as you upgrade. Actually makes me excited for what F7 will have next year.

The car club is slowly growing, but servers are a bit slow and the invite a friend to club is sort of broken on the system. So for the next 2 weeks the club will be open to anyone. As soon as you unlock clubs in game you'll be able to search for "GAF" and join the group. After the 2 weeks we'll set the club to invite only and we will take requests. This should give everyone a chance to get the game and unlock the clubs.

I can't stress this enough, put your info in the spreadsheet. When the club fills up and we need to make space people not on the spreadsheet will be knocked out first. Where is the spreadsheet? Quote this post to see it.

Unless I have a bug time progression seems like it's not working while free roaming. Been about an hour and it's still night for me. Anyone else have a similar issue?

I am moving next weekend...so my home theatre stuff has to be disassembled this weekend. I thought maybe I could put it off to get one night of FH3 before it was too late....but the logistics have failed me.

Who knows when I will get my Xbox back online....weeks maybe.

ugh.

Sounds like a bug, it definitely progresses for me. An easy way to notice (at least during the day) is to stop in the rainforest and see the tree shadows jump forward every 3 seconds or so.

I still think anyone that good can drift in Forza with a little car/assist tuning (normal, not sim steering!)... unless any kind of upgrading/tuning is forbidden, then it can be pretty shit, I agree.

Contacted chat support, they said MS is looking into it, asked for refund they said they can't.....

Am I missing something here?

Helios or other T10 peeps, I've got a couple of issues using my Logitech G920 wheel I'm hoping you can address in the next patch.

1. There's no way to honk my horn on this wheel. None. LSB and RSB buttons aren't even used. Please allow use of these buttons on the G920.

2. When switching Difficulty to Shift Manually, the Activate button (back, select, cheese... whatever) no longer functions as a quick map button.

3. Clutch pedal under Default Layout 4 is supposed to be e-brake. It's not. It's nothing.

4. Surely there must be a better way to control Drone mode with a wheel? It's completely unusable with a wheel.

They'll refund your game, and allow you to repurchase it. As soon as I did this, I got the crown and all the VIP cars, wheel bonuses, etc. Seems to work for pretty much everyone who's tried it.

Looks like they've told support to stop doing this. Just got this response:

I wish I can do that. However, we were advised that this is already being looked into and cannot proceed with a refund and repurchase fix.

This is already an open case with us and the developer so we will need to wait till this is fixed. Please be assured that we are already working to fix this as soon as possible

Oh well. I'll just play more Destiny and then it's soccer and football most of the rest of the day anyway. Maybe it will be fixed later tonight or tomorrow. Though I'm not holding my breath.

I don't know if they fixed it already, but I just did the above and downloaded without any problems! Woot!

Now only for Playground to fix the Groove stutter and I'm a happy!

only thing that annoys the shit out of me still is the skipping shadow lapses when daytime advances......god is that fucking ugly. It was in FH2 and it took a lot of the experience out when sitting still watching things and shadows would jump overtime from trees and other sources.

Just tried Xbox Support for getting the DLC and VIP for my Ult edition on PC. Was told to wait until the proper release date of 9/27. Only the base game is available for early access.

Kind of horseshit really considering only players that spent $100 have early access and thus should have the full benefit of their purchase. Meanwhile it is also never indicated that the DLC will be available after early access prior to purchase, leading us to believe there is a potential problem and our money was wasted, not to mention some players clearly have access to it in-game already.

so it seems they fucked up again on another PC release in some form. On the Xbox One I have all my DLC cars, VIP works on spins as well. That koensigg when you expand to a 2nd festival is fucking godly from VIP. That speed trap thats 150mph that gave me trouble, I fucking nailed it going over 200 due to how great the car handles......it might be EZ mode for speed traps but I'll take it!


Hope they resolve it for you soon.....kind of stupid to lose out on a benefit of being an ultimate owner

That's just a misinformed rep. See my post and jacobeid's above. MS is aware of the issue and are working on it. It sucks as given the cost of the content and early access being a big part of the incentive to buy it, but it's not that the content isn't supposed to be available until 9/27. It's some issue with licensing for the VIP and DLC apparently.

How exactly does it work for one... The game just constantly sends you to a new event over and over again? so no downtime? Can you pick the events you do or it's all automated?

Also can you do an online adventure with friends only or is it matchmaking only and you invite your friends in after/before queueing?

Well my first two races on the game were an absolute disaster since I seemed to have the incorrect setting on my elite pad meaning my car couldn't seem to go very fast. I couldn't even beat the jeep at the start, how embarrassing! Luckily I've sorted it and now I'm loving the game.

This whole VIP PC thing is really dumb. I originally purchased via the W10 store and started playing on PC, and noticed the DLC wasn't there. I went ahead and started playing via Xbox One using crossplay. All the DLC and VIP crown and 2x wheelspin rewards were working. Awesome, I thought. I figured using the save that has all the DLC stuff and the crown would sort of force it to work, but PC version still is being stubborn and not recognizing, and it crashes and refuses to boot up sometimes without a restart.

Hope there's a quick resolve to this issue. I'm just going to play the game for now on my Xbox One.

With Forza Horizon 3's official release right around the corner, Microsoft today announced an expansion pass for the Australia-set Xbox One and PC racing game.

The $35 pass comes with two expansions, the first of which will debut this holiday. No details about either expansion were divulged. Microsoft also confirmed that people who buy the $100 Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition can get the expansion pass for $25 if they buy it before the end of 2016.

As announced previously, Forza Horizon 3's Ultimate Edition comes with a series of extras, including the Car Pass, the Motorsport All-Stars Car pack, and a VIP membership. These unlock things like more cars and events, among other things. As detailed on Microsoft's website, the Car Pass goes for $30 by itself, while the All-Stars pack sells for $10. A VIP membership sells for $20 on its own.

Same. Although I suppose a workaround would be to play on PC and earn wheelspins, then switch to Xbox to spin and get the bonus.

If I try to select VIP or car pass on the PC itll ask for my PIN number and then crash to desktop. I'm not entirely sure what that screen is supposed to do anyway - lots of tiles with DLC/VIP/Car pass etc all similar things

I don't know to be honest, I just switched the green button on the back over to the other setting and it seems to be working fine again.

I think I may have limited my triggers ages ago when playing some fps.

I had the game with reviewers. Also put a bunch of time into the game. I kind of love it. Can't stop playing it.

I'm not a huge drift fan and I'm glad that the drift events aren't mandatory. But getting really close to the end of a run and almost at 3 stars only to get hit by traffic...

you can go into the xbox accessories app and change your trigger settings to make a 50% pull (trigger stops enabled) act as a 100% pull of the trigger.

That will solve your problem with not going full speed with the trigger stops enabled.

No idea what fps you play but it can help with those too. Halo 5 for example you can't charge up weapons like the plasma pistol with trigger stops on unless you go change that setting.

I just do that and keep the trigger stops enabled all the time.
