Forza Horizon 3: Review Thread

I'm having a hard time finding this information but can I use music from Groove or OneDrive in game without the music pass or do I need to buy the 10 bucks a month pass to listen to my own music?

Yes, you can. You just have to make sure setting the region of your Xbox to the supported region and create a "Music" folder on your OneDrive.

I went on MS Online Support and it took me about 15 mins tops to do it. They cancelled my pre-order and I had used money from my MS Account so it was credited pretty much immediately. Then I just bought the Ultimate Edition on the store. Was a really easy process for me.. I wish you luck. :D

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll give it a shot!

Great reviews. I am very happy for Playground and MS. I am not big on racers but the demo sold me and i am getting the mid tier version. Wont play it till next week, but i can wait.

Damn this game might just make me upgrade my 970 it looks amazing, and just about every review makes it sound like the definitive open world racer. Please due a good job with the pc version.

Those that have pre-loaded your Ultimate Edition on Xbox, are you having an issue where the cover art of the game isn't visual?

I can see all the various DLC covers fine, just not the actual game.

But X1S doesn't play 4k games?

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't all 4K TV sets automatically upscale regular HD content with their built in upscaling hardware?

I'm just guessing that may be what he is referring to.

Though yeah, just like PS4P's FauxK in some games, it isn't native 4K which is a bit disingenuous.

That is a really great review. I like your style. Subscribed.

Thanks glad you got good info from it

But it doesn't do non-native 4k games either. It doesn't change the resolution of games at all.
It quite literally does exactly that actually.

When you set your console resolution to 4K UHD, everything on the console—Home, games, and apps—will display at 4K. 4K content is displayed in its native 4K resolution, and other content (like 1080p content) is upscaled to 4K.

And already tested on various sites.

Nope.

I'm surprised Playground Games made a better game than Horizon 2, people were saying that was the best arcade racer of all time. It's rare that you see a trilogy get better with each sequel.

Yes. It also was asking me if I own it or have the disc. I deleted and started the dl again. No cover art but at least it's just saying I'm too early now.

This isn't true though because FH1 > FH2. This is fact, not opinion.

I'm having the same problem, hopefully it goes away after the game releases.

Horizon 1 just feels so constrained

I do think that it's still the most realised version of the festival and i really enjoyed it's dumb characters. I HATED the festival in 2 and the rich white person setting of european vineyards and all of the characters were garbage, but that game played so well and the world was open and free that i still enjoyed it a lot and greatly prefer it to 1

3 looks like it has the openness of 2 with an interesting setting like 1. If they could roll all of the good elements from the first two games into one package they would have the perfect racing game imo
