I am not sure, but I am guessing it might be based on pre-orders. If you didn't do that, you probably aren't going to get a code.

You have to have "news/promotions/etc" e-mails from Microsoft and Turn 10 turned on/allowed with any accounts you have with them I think.

If you unchecked allowing them to send you e-mails anywhere...that's probably the problem.

Having said that (based on what Turn 10 said to the question), I have yet to receive anything and have been Day 1 on everything....shrug
