I haven't had any issues with it. Seems well supported in most of the major sims too.

I also use a TX for PC racing and it's been fine. Had it for about 14 or 15 months I think.
Just make sure you tighten the rim plenty as mine got loose and I thought the FFB broke :S

They're cars, nothing super special about them. If you like some of them or if you're a car collector you will enjoy the additions. The best reason to buy the VIP Pass is to be able to get double money for completing races (assuming you're into the singleplayer component and didn't progress that far ahead).
That depends if you want to buy FM7 on day one or sometime next year when it's cheaper. I'd say go for it. Only FM5 imo wasn't worth it, because it severely lacked in content (and generally brand new stuff).
I'd probably end up getting FM7 day one to be fair. I just thought it would be cool to go back and play FM6 for completeness and for a more traditional kind of racing. Might dip in if I can get an offer on it

It is possible you just have to be super aggressive on the start to make places early. I remember thinking it was a bit of a cheap race, but I'd prefer most of the races to be at least double the length anyway. Will you be joining us for forza 7 at the end of the month?
Haven't looked into it, but can you tweak/tune your cars? Or do you have to unlock better parts?
In the next race my car wasn't breaking as good as the others it felt.
And I'm thinking about it.
Will spend some time with apex and will at least check out the PC demo.
Talking about PC: is Apex capped at 30 fps?

You can do both, buy upgrades and tune, as long as you keep to the race Class.
No, but the unlock is hidden in a funny menu and it's been a while since I played apex, but it's definitely able to run at 60fps DF analysis

You buy upgraded parts with credits earned from racing. The street and sports level parts offer limited scope for tuning, but do offer performance upgrades.
Race level parts let you fully tune and adjust.
But you can always, no matter which parts are fitted, change minor things such as tire pressure. Also some cars come with parts that are street, sport or even race level already. And so you can choose those elements right away.
Upgrading cars can send you out of the class level you're supposed to be in. But things like suspension and brakes - which make a big difference - don't up your PI level very much.
One of the best upgrades you can do, if you can't afford to do the whole car, is upgrade the tires and brakes.
Another thing to look out for is if you do a total conversion - such as putting a completely different engine in the car. Any engine upgrades you've already bought will not be fitted to the new engine. Similarly if you change the car's aspiration. So if you want to fit a new engine or change the aspiration - do that then make any engine upgrades that you want.

I love it... well, as long as some weirder fanboys don't take it stupid personal at least.

Yes its a very cut down forza experience.

campaign seemed very short and I still havent found out how you can tune your cars.
all I can do is change tire pressure. lol.

It was something I suggested in the PC Racing Sims thread to gather all racers on Gaf together in order for us to easily organise races/leagues/online sessions across the slew of this year's racing games (also the current crop) and to also discuss other things such as hardware, setups, Gaf threads, tips and guides.
Its something that's only just been set up and there's a few Gaf members on there already. If its something you guys are interested in, PM me and I'll let you know the server details.

I don't think you can buy parts in that. But the higher end - and especially the racing cars - feature parts that can be tuned.

Now normally this being a console title this sort of thing wouldn't be required, but with Forza 7 being play anywhere we should support our PC brethren.
