Viewer Mail #2 / Internal Affairs

Zrvy2.jpg

Continuing a popular show tradition, Brian and Stewie respond to viewer mail. We meet a British version of the Griffins, Quahog is taken over by a famous comedian and we get to see the world from Stewie's POV. Then, Peter encourages Joe to have a one-night stand with his attractive new partner (guest star Anna Kendrick) in order to even the score with Bonnie (guest star Jennifer Tilly) for her own indiscretions. But when Bonnie finds out and threatens divorce, Lois insists that Peter get them back together. Meanwhile, Peter has another run-in with the angry chicken.

American Dad looks amazing.
Don't usually watch The Cleveland Show but will check it out this week for the Nature Boy.

Both The Simpsons and Family Guy look to be derivative rehashes.
I'm not expecting the first decent Simpsons ep this season until November.

Incidentally, expect a three-week or so break in Animation Domination fare following this week's premieres and the following Sunday. Due to baseball. Yay?

Is this where everyone will be discussing each of these shows' new seasons? If so, I'll link this thread to each show in my Fall TV thread.

American Dad will surely reign supreme again, followed by Cleveland Show (Limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing son of a gun! WOOOOOOOO!!), Family Guy and whatever fucking nonsense The Simpsons are peddling this week.

Not just content with having a bullshit celebrity storyline and a thrown together sub-plot per-episode, now Simpsons is seemingly all bullshit celebrity storyline. Fuck that noise.

Oh Simpsons and FG... hopefully you're good, but doesn't seem that way by your previews. TCS and AD sound great though.

Really excited for the "Road to" episode this season on FG.

Apparently they travel back to the first episode.

Watching this episode of The Simpsons makes realize I miss 24.
What makes it even more awful is that they already did a much-better 24 parody ep a few years ago. What this is, I don't even... especially for a season premiere.

Ya know, I've always been one to resist or dismiss those calls for killing this show, as I actually liked some of the stuff around season 20/21, but I don't think I can hold out any longer... this is as bad as the worst of the post-S13 era.

Its not really so much killing as it is letting it die. I think the writers are intentionally trying to make the show so bad that it gets taken off the air as less people watch. The writers are getting old, the voice actors are getting old and tired, they all just want to rest. This show needs to go and be replaced with something[not done by seth macfarlane]
