That mountain fall was... what the hell was that
EDIT: AHAHAHAHAHA HES BLACK
Reminded me of Homer falling down Springfield Gorge in Bart the Daredevil.
And an animator subtly puts in the initials of the cast of My Little Pony into Cleavland's card.
It's there... and yet I have to wonder what would possibly compel someone watching to connect the dots and catch that reference. How does that happen? And an animator subtly puts in the initials of the cast of My Little Pony into Cleveland's card.

Besides a few notable talking dogs they've had talking monkeys, sheep, horses, cows... I don't think the Family Guy universe has a problem with talking animals. Probably comes from Seth's love of cartoon history which contains many anthropomorphized animals. Sometimes the distinction is confusing though. Why can Brian and a couple other dogs talk where as all the other dogs in the world are just dumb dogs?

brian isnt a dog. dogs dont make human children that are older than they are.
When Donna has a midlife crisis, Cleveland must come up with a clever way to sneak off with his buddies on a hunting trip without her finding out. But a hunting accident leaves Cleveland slightly deaf, and his scheme to agree to all of Donna's ideas backfires when she makes a drastic life change and decides to go back to school. Meanwhile, Junior is up for an easy reelection as Student Body President, until Roberta decides to run against him.
Bart plasters unflattering graffiti images of Homer all over Springfield. They catch the eyes of established street artists Shepard Fairey, Ron English, Kenny Scharf and Robbie Conal, who catch him in the act, and they invite him to exhibit his work at a gallery show of his own. Meanwhile, a new health-food superstore threatens to put the Kwik-E-Mart out of business.
In the Season 1 finale, Napoleon and Pedro team up for the Future Farmers of America state competition after Napoleon's former partner drops out. Complicating matters further: The FFA queen makes a pass at Napoleon.
Overwhelmed with financial troubles, Mort asks Peter and Quagmire to help him save his pharmacy. However, things take a turn for the worse when the trio decides to burn it down to collect insurance money.
When Barry (guest voice Eddie Kay Thomas) threatens Stan's old high school wrestling record, Stan enlists Roger to beat Barry and defend his small claim to fame. However, Stan is caught off-guard when Roger, not Barry, is actually the threat to Stan's record.
Guest stars like these are so pointless they really shouldn't bother. Just like when they got those crossword guys to voice themselves back in Season 20. At least bringing in actual celebrities make sense. Bringing in graffiti artists only works if you're having them provide their own original artwork for the show.8:00pm:

Wow, they brought back Drederick Tatum AKA Mike Tyson.
Wait, are you guys saying I should actually watch last night's episode of The Simpsons?
Just saw American Dad, pretty good episode. Steve is really great character, love his dancing and singingStraight A's daddy-o. Also writers really have no idea what they are going to do with Hayley and Klaus.

She was clearly the weakest link. The show is better off without her in every episode. That's probably why they had Hayley marry Jeff. They've pretty much written her out of the show since then.
This Simpsons reminds me of a classic Simpsons, subtle jokes and decent delivery. It feels strange to laugh at this show again. Maybe I'm not feeling well![]()
Finally watched the new Simpsons episode. What a fucking sellout pile of horse shit.
There's just one recent episode that I can remember with some fondness: the Christmas special with future Simpsons. But even there they could have had so much more story and jokes.
What's the current contract with the makers of the show? Another two seasons at least?
Disappointing ratings or not it's not like those scores are going to other titles in the FOX stable or even other networks. Two more seasons were announced but I would assume there are some options if ratings are bad enough. At this rate season 23 will end up having the worst average ratings in the shows history. Maybe they will do another movie so they can get some hype and attract more viewers for the show.
The Simpsons Might Be Worth More Money If It Were Cancelled. In that light if Simpson ratings drop in the category of 3 or 4 million viewers per episode I would assume it would be only reasonable to end it.Disappointing ratings or not it's not like those scores are going to other titles in the FOX stable or even other networks.
American Idol is getting the worst average ratings in its history but isn't going anywhere, either.
Both shows still command hefty prices for their commercial space - something any replacement series would not be able to match.
Oh I raised that point back in the fall when the last round of negotiations were underway. The Simpsons Might Be Worth More Money If It Were Cancelled. In that light if Simpson ratings drop in the category of 3 or 4 million viewers per episode I would assume it would be only reasonable to end it.
It cost insane mount of money to produce Simpsons episodes and lack of viewers from last two seasons forced the voice actors to take big pay cuts and this season is tracking to do lot worse then seasons 21/22. Will the voice actors take another pay cut when next contracts are signed or will FOX cut somewhere else or simply dumb the show? They might make another movie and hope it will breath some air to the show but if the ratings are plummeting like this then FOX is going to pull the plug, whether it's after the two full seasons or before that is something only time will tell.Oh I raised that point back in the fall when the last round of negotiations were underway.
Thing is, while the show will have a big payday when it ends due to the prospect of reworked syndication deals and BluRay/DVD sets... that payday will still be there in two years. Or five years. Or ten years. No reason FOX needs to cash in on that deal right this second.
