It's mostly the optics. Trump and his surrogates have been playing up that Clinton's not healthy and this gives them more ammo to keep saying it.

I live in the Northwest, and I could barely handle 80+ degree weather lol. It's way too hot for me. Having lived in the Northwest for most of my life definitely made me more susceptible to the heat.
I could definitely see the anti-Hillary camp running with this report though, especially in the wake of a 9/11 ceremony. I'm hoping Hillary's campaign pulls through!

I am a physician and I have seen people come in all the time from completely fainting when the weather is even cooler outside. Even young very healthy people. It happens all the time. Had the Right not been passing along mayor conspiracies about what health, this would only be a blip.

Well it originated in the alt right. It then spread to more established conservative outlets and it is now a Trump election talking point itself.
I worry that all the media will want to talk about from here until November is her email and her health. Imagine if this had happened before the Matt Lauer thing. He'd have devoted 15 minutes to concerns about her health.

Get out of here.... It's been 90-100 in DC with high humidity for the last week. Todays temps feel cool compared to what we've been experiencing and the sun isn't even that hot when your in it today so I'm assuming NYC is even more bearable. Most of summer doesn't even get as low as mid 80s in DC (except at night where that is usually the overnight low). I have no idea how she can handle heat if your overheating on a day like today.
I keep thinking of menopause and hot flashes now they have used this as the reason...haha
I think she and her team know how bad it would look, but chose to leave anyway. I doubt they would've done that if she just felt a little dizzy and needed to sit.

SMH. Yeah, it was that simple. No, there were a TON of factors, the biggest being, 2004 was 3 years removed from 9/11 and 1 year into the conflict in the Middle East. The entire basis for Dubya's re-election was fear and how we should not change course in war time.
Swift boating had traction but that was combined with what I just said. It also didn't help that Kerry was wooden as fuck as a candidate.
Considering how he ended up opening pickle jars after Hillary did that he'll probably broadcast his next show from within a sauna
