Friday night drinking thread - 03/28/08

Okay, who's drinking tonight. Despite being stuck in a spectacularly boring part of the world right now I fully intend to get a load on. Thinking some decent beer to start out with and then some bourbon later in the evening. There's a Gordon Biersch not far from here so I should be sorted.

Anyone else?
 
Rum and cokes + a 22 of Sierra Nevada and I just got home and rented Working Girl on iTunes. WTF is wrong with me, world?
 
I really shouldn't. (2 bad nights in the last week of drinking and my body is still kicking my ass.)

But I probably will.

I mean what else am I going to do, read?

I forgot to mention, I bought some Dark chocolate Raisinets. Once I get drunk enough, those fuckers are getting CONSUMED.
 
I was gonna read part of a book, work on my game on Legend of Heroes 2 on PSP, surf the Internet, and try to beat GGaHT on Hard Drums in Rock Band.

So far all I've accomplished is drinking 2 glasses of a vodka/7up/orange juice mixer and surfing the Internet.

It's gonna be a long night. I'm all out of Sprite, and too god damn lazy to drive to the grocery store. Looks like it's screwdrivers the rest of the night.

Will probably log on to Culdcept Saga later tonight.

Damn. I might get in on that. The 'rents will be pissed that I'm drumming this late, and the vodka buzz will probably blunt my skills to medium, but I'll try it.

$10? What is it? Mohawk? You can step it up a notch for an extra $4 bucks and get some Svedka! Dear lord, you have not tasted amazingness until you've had a svedka and anything. You can mix this stuff with motor oil and it's still great.

Rocked some good times, a few folks even had some of the same DL songs I had. Maybe next time.

It was a mix-mash of Beer, Bacardi Razz, Mr. Walker, tequila shots, Mojitos and something else I stole from one of the people in the group :p.

I'm so glad I avoided the "mixing" beer with spirits last night. That usually gurantees me a sloggish morn. After this morning's coffee, I'm already looking forward to tonight :D
 
I was at a wedding last night and I stayed sober!!!!! God, it was hard to see that open bar and not partake. This is what I sacrifice for rugby.
