Yep! A few of the tracks are just re-workings of songs they've already done, but I'm super curious to hear what Your Hand in Mine sounds like with STRINGS. Like I already mentioned, the soundtrack's out on October 15th, so grab a copy! It's almost like a new Explosions album.

the book is extremely good I figured as long as they didnt botch it horribly it would make a good movie, my Aunt hates it because my cousin was a chearleader at Permian when it came out, and it doesnt say very good things about them

In any case, I am a WR for the Midland Lee Rebels in some of the football scenes in the movie, but I have no idea if any of them actually made the movie or if you can even tell its me. We shot a TON of stuff and they kept bringing in new people to get the shit knocked out of them. The hits for this thing were HARD. and I got to meet Roy Williams (the wide reciever) because he plays an assistant coach for the Rebels.. which is sorta odd because he went to Oddessa Permian (their big rival).

Bill Simmons liked it. I usually agree with the movies he likes.

The TV ads are pretty funny. Things like "The greatest sports picture OF ALL TIME."

My mother, aunt and two of my cousins went to Permian High School. I've been to one of their football games, and its insane. My cousin ended up being at the school during the 1988 season.

I'll most likely be checking this out.
