Reposting my question, because I got no answer:
I would bet that it would go on sale when the new content releases. If it doesn't then surely it will during the Steam Halloween/autumn sale.
Not really clear but according to the development road map, a demo should be released before Christmas, and the full release will be after.

All DLC other than the Spring Break pack has been free. I know the disc edition gets some exclusive DLC.

Savini was kickstarter only and only at a certain tier. There was one day where it popped up on the Microsoft store but shouldn't have. That's not a part of the physical game.

What Season Pass? Apart from counselor skin packs all the other content appears to be free for all existing owners. One exclusive Jason skin for the retail version does not seem worth getting up in arms over.

It's just blood splattered on the old jason model skin, big whoop. Physical doesn't get anything else special, and Kickstarter backers got the game for $10 cheaper. There is no season pass

It was released only digitally, now it's getting a physical release. Offline bots are coming in a future update.
They are saying these are dlc and free updates.

DLC is out, at least on PS4. Part 4 Jason's kills are fantastic.

If you're preordering the physical version from Amazon it's 20% off, I'm sure there's a Best Buy GCU discount - if you're thinking of picking it up at all it's a good time to do it since this weekend is a Double XP weekend. I'm sure there'll be plenty of new players diving in for that and there's new content for the existing players too.
It's a damn fun time (with the right group of people).

Have they fixed the host issue yet? I'd have played the game a lot more if the host leaving after dying didn't end like 90% of my games. Moved on to DbD because of that.

Love the new map. The rain effects enhanced the overall atmosphere of every map I've played.. Part 4 theme music is amazing, the new counselor is also fun. This update is pretty fucking awesome so far!
Part 4 Jason unlocks at level 44 btw.

Update is fantastic! I love that they fixed some stuff like the bugged luck, summary viewable as Jason again without having to go to mute players screen. Chad is again awesome to play as, and back to AJ being terrible for fighting Jason.
New Jason, map and counselor seem pretty good. Part 4 is surprisingly harder than I thought it'd be to play as given he can run and has destruction. The 3 games I played as him have been drawn out quite a lot with the last 2 counselors surviving much longer than they would if I was part 8 for example. I let a friend demask me and holy fuck, that is one sexy Jason.
It seems mostly free of unexpected new issues that patches tend to bring into this game, though I noticed a couple of weird issues I'd never encountered before.
I was Jason and at the very start of the game, as soon as I moved inside the shack it's like the whole environment basically disappeared then I was in water and the game ended, as though Jason had died. Kind of like when you get shot with a flare gun when pulling someone out of car and you glitch off of the map, but this happened the second I moved... very weird.
Also, tried to kill Jason as Tommy, he dropped to his knees after being stunned with sweater and hit with wrench by sweater girl.
The X prompt came up and nothing happened when I pressed it, the X just stayed on the screen the whole time then eventually he got up.
Another time, I tanked a trap at the phone and the health spray didn't work when I pressed square, even though it was definitely selected. My fear level was fine so that wasn't anything to do with it (sometimes if the inventory and minimap disappears you can't even do things like pick up a weapon or use items if fear is high enough), cost me me my life in that game though.
New map is awesome, though I think it will be much more enjoyable to play on once I have a better idea of the layout, the original maps I know like the back of my hand so this feels pretty daunting to play on at first.
One thing I've noticed is it seems harder to find a map on the new map, which is frustrating when you're trying to learn where everything is, might just be imagining it but I have come to rely on the map stand near the two main houses and hope that I spawn near it.
I found the propeller at the start of a game and ran around with it for 10 minutes looking for map, by the time I found it I was nowhere near the boat. Equipping the map perk feels like a waste normally, but I wish I'd had it during those games where I had to waste several minutes trying to find a basic item like a map in order to not feel lost and directionless.
I love the rain being added, though I do find it a bit distracting at times as it's pretty loud and ever present even on the ending screen. I'm probably just still getting used to it - definitely gives the atmosphere a boost.

Yeah, I'm loving this update and have been playing a lot more recently than I have been. Jarvis House map is pretty damn big and I find myself getting lost on it a lot more than the others when I played them for the first time. Fuck the spawn at the campsite where no cabins are, though. I got thrown into that one twice and it sucks.
Just had a game as Part 4 Jason on the Jarvis map and massacred everyone in saw. I play him just like a shark and just focus on one person at a time after dropping my traps off at the phone and car. He also has some great kills.

Welp, just received this email about my Kickstarter backing of the physical editon:
I gave my digital copy to my friend and have been waiting for this moment. 1 more week isn't gonna kill me, but I'm just disappointed they weren't able to get these out while they release the physical edition in stores tomorrow.

Game has been out for 5/6 months has never been on sale on PC as well. Only 1500-2000 people playing daily as well.
You think they'd put it on sale to bump those numbers up a bit.

The vast majority of the time I play, I'm on Quick Play. Haven't been in an active group in at least two months. QP is still a pain in the ass due to host/Jason quits, asshole teammates who either A.) never play the objective or B.) will sacrifice you to save themselves (at least they can't team kill or body block anymore), and some random glitches. It's a lot better game than it was in the last two months and the extra content is pretty nice.

Personally to me it seems like its gotten lot harder to play as Jason, folks learning the limits of what he can do and how to cheese him. Dunno why, but feels like seeing lore more people surviving matches than we have in the past.
