My girlfriend just repaired the boat and ditched me at the moment Jason appeared. I slowed him down with a machete whilst I watched her drive away but it wasn't enough.

Congrats. I've gotten killed trying to do that escape every time because Jason seems like he moves faster than the fucking boat. That shit is a trap, if I open a drawer with a propeller I close it up as don't tell anyone. They'll thank me for it when they're older.

I appreciate the mood in this game but the gameplay is jankier than 5 German RPGs put together. It really needed more money and/or 6 months more in early access. I feel like I've seen all the content already and there's still like 86 more levels to grind. I've probably died to some bug as much as I've died to Jason. Got stuck in car, got unable to press any key in whole match other than move, got into the ground, etc. 4 escapes in a car, 3 to police, 3 or 4 to just hiding from Jason until the game ends. Somehow the boat eludes me.

My wife - walks in, sees me hiding, starts talking loudly so Jason will come and find me.

played a match, the game is really fun, but there is something that could ruin it, what if other players told Jason where am i ?? this is a problem

nevertheless, still fun, i was the last man standing and was hiding under a bed, so jason texted me asking where am i, i told him i was in a pool, lol there is no pool, in the last 2 minutes, he found me, if the time runs out, who wins ?

Players can't talk to Jason, unless they are right beside him, so they wouldn't really know where you are anyway. Unless they were in a psn party together, in which case you'd be screwed.

If time runs out, the counsellors win.

Is this game on PS4 region locked? I'm in UK and can't invite USA friend into my party. Or her me. We both get a 'view in PStore' menu?

my Profile is US and i can send an invite to my friend who is EU and joins my party, the matchmaking however takes much longer than playing solo

Hoping I can get a game in tonight. Loved the beta, and I'm really curious to see the changes. I hope the servers get fixed soon. I understand it's a small team tho, so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a while to get fixed.

Oh good. This implies some kind of glitch rather than conscious development restriction. both me and US girl get a "view on pstore" menu when we Tey to invite each other to the ingame party groups.

How is performance on the PS4 version? My 860m laptop probably wouldn't handle it on PC, so that'll probably be my best bet in playing this.

I just played my first match with a group that had a psn party going. It sucked because Jason only came after me, then they all fucked around after I died.

Saw a twitch maych where one of the counselors teamed up with Jason. The others had to kill her. Was halarious. No texting tho. Just voice chat

It's random to a point. For example each map has about 3-4 locations where the phone can spawn. The electrical boxes/tommy jarvis can also move depending on which of the 3-4 layouts is chosen. It was much easier to get this information during the beta since it was just one map and of course you got to see the layout from the start.

The one new thing I have to learn is where the hell can propellers spawn. Since those are brand new. Sometimes they can be on a shelf in a house, I found another one in a restroom, outside of a porch. Others I've scoured and haven't been able to find which is hard to know if its a new spot or if someone picked it up and died with it somewhere else.

Point is you can learn the maps for the most part. Still RNG if you get a pocket knife though.

game should of saw you were the only one not in the group and automatically made you jason to counter that

I'm loving it so far, but I'm abysmal with the counselors and have been the first to die the past 4 games in a row. It's getting pretty annoying having to wait 15 minutes before I can actually play again.

Bit the bullet and bought the game. Its a blast and so far the people that use their mikes are, surprising ,pretty cool.

The way things play out in this game is hilarious. I was in a house with these two other guys and they started freaking out and hiding in a room. I assumed Jason was trying to get inside so I hid in the room with them. As I shut the door I see them jump out the window in the room (we're on the top floor btw) only to to turn around to see Jason casually open the door. As I try to jump out the window one of the guys takes his time knowing that it'll get me killed so that he has more time to run away from Jason. He succeeded. The guy jumped out of the window and ran off while I got down the quick way, which was being slammed into a closet by Jason before being thrown out through the window and hitting the floor. Now I'm watching the guy who sacrificed me frantically hide behind a rock clutching his damaged arm as Jason tries to find him. Karma's a bitch.

Yeah, this game has some positives.. But when you die at the very beginning it really takes the wind out of your sails. I wish there was some benefit to it other than just the experience gain.

Does the phone spawn in a different cabin every game? If so, they really should put it's location on the map. You already have to find the map just to know where you're going, making you randomly look around a huge map just to find the phone too is unnecessary, especially considering how OP Jason already is. That and you still have to survive 5 minutes even if you find it, which is a LOOOOONG time in this game.

I've played multiple games where I could have probably survived had I been able to find the phone sooner.
