Fusion Frenzy sequel confirmed?

For a fairly average game this one sure has spawned a lot of development rumors. I thought that an actual team member posted on GAF before that this was dead and gone. LIVE implementation would give a title like this a whole new life, though.

Oxygen (element). He has denied a sequel on every occasion.

I know. That's why I posted this. It's strange, but the USK does rate only games that exist and are playable for them. They even rate demos for magazines.

I haven't been following the rumors, but isn't this just an X-Box Live Arcade game?

Average game or not, it has sold over 500k in the US and contiues to do well monthly in respect to it's age and genre.

I'd actually say it was seen as "below average." I thought it was decent, but I'm partial to party games.

Fuzion Frenzy was the great 'other' game when you have people around. After 2 hours of Halo, it was pretty fun to play a couple rounds of Sumo or Twisted System.

Had some good games too, like Sumo. My friends and I had so much fun with that on the demo, it led me to buy the GH version of the game. Honestly, for me at least, what hurt it was its being on X-Box, GC is simply my party game system and I think the game would have found more of an audience on GC (not that it realistically would have been on GC, but just hypothetically). True that it is a good change-of-pace game for X-Box, though.

Xbox has the best party game of this gen IMO - Kung Fu Chaos :D
Super Monkey Ball
Super Monkey Ball 2
Mario Party 4
Mario Party 5
Mario Party 6
Pac-Man Fever (Still good. Faster gameplay than Mario Party)
WARIO-FUCKING-WARE: Mega Micro-Game$

I'd say you're crazy.

It will once Super Monkey Ball Deluxe is released. ;)

heh, exactly.

Regardless, Fuzion Frenzy has a huge following. I've talked to a lot of gamers who would like nothing more than a sequel. Sort of a missed opportunity to expand the LIVE genre too.
