Got a Inspiron 5160 (3.20GHz, 533MHz FSB) priced at 1502 after the rebate.. thinking I might pull the trigger. :D

they call me "Man Gravy".
I put together a laptop that was at $2,200, put in the $750 rebate - and then it upped the price to $2,800, so the final price was only $150 less! What a lame deal.

Lol did you use an Inspiron? Did you do a lot of upgrading?

Actually Pentium 4 is the best, for gaming anyways.

Dead to me - coupon no longer eligible for 600m/700m and a few other models. (was looking at the 700m, myself, oh well)

Yup, Dell changed the deal now:

need help on my decision...hehe
built an inspirion XPS Pentium-4 3.4GHz HT, 15.4" WUXGA, 1GB DDR, 60GB Drive, 24x CDRW/DVD, Radeon 9800 258MB, at $2100, total price with shipping and tax $2311. I have been thinking to upgrade my system. Should I get the deal or just get a desktop??
Primarily working at home.

[edit]
I'm a 3D artist, so prob the XPS would be the best dell laptop for me. But I guess I could save a lot if I get a dasktop. But $750 off is just too good hehehe. Or would the price of laptops will go down any soon?
