Where are those quotes about the PSP battery life right about now! :lolI don't think its CG in the convention sense. They are using in-game models and environments, but because the engines aren't done/optimized, and because the dev kits aren't full spec'd, they're using non-realtime renderings to display the gameplay at a good framerate. It's probably not just for the framerate either, they currrently need to render it to do get the expected number of characters on screen, and probably to do some of the effects (explosions, smoke, particles). The big BUT is, that they are basing these effects, characters on screen, and framerates on the specs of what the PS3 can do, and what their engine is expected to be capable of.
I'm not saying this is true, but I'm pretty sure that is what the explanation for "done to spec" is.

Reggie just said that because you can download all of the old games, the control can play all of those games. He said to take note that every control is totally different. I am pretty sure the rumor that the button layout is totally customizeable including how many buttons you're controller has is true.

God damn, Anouma was lookin' like a damned statue through that whole thing.
Sessler was kind of flipping out when he didn't think the camera was on him -- I guess he was trying to tell Morgan to load up a different stage. Overall, it seems like a pretty bad idea for Japanese speakers to come on live broadcasts -- at least if they are as wordy as Anouma. It takes like a minute to get a question asked, a minute to answer, and a minute for translation.
