I just love how G4 continues to ruin a station I watched since it's inception. After watching last nights ScreenSavers show I'm sorry to say it'll be my last. I had to wait almost 50 minutes into the show to get some actuall PC related material and it's about a Bloodrayne demo?!? Come on. Let's not forget yesterdays show where the new host couldn't keep from continously touching lead paint. Was that supposed to be cute? funny? Obviously somebody there is sniffing the shit too. Whomever is making the calls at the top level of the station should be fired immediatly.

Taking the only channel about computers and games and turning it into a console gaming haven with a bunch of arrogant posers is a damn shame.

What's next?... Adam Sessler gets the boot? It's bound to happen I'm sure.

Done with the station for good. If I wanted to watch idiot fluff I'd turn to MTV. Atleast they play music.

I hope someone from the station reads this and forwards it to the management. Although I'm hard pressed to believe someone with a degree is actually running the station.

Let's see, Leo, Patrick, Jessica, and how many others already gone. Looks like Kevin's on the way out too.

Yeah, I'm pissed. I've been into computers for 20 years, program in 3 languages, and yet I learned something new almost everyday on Call for Help. Did they stop there? Nnooooo. Even XPlay yesterday was a disgrace and I like the hosts.

Screw it, whats the point. Suits and tech don't mix --> G$4 = living proof.

The dating show would be boring, everyone would get the same exact advice.
I think it could work. Have a smarmy host who takes call-in questions about dating, have him give a half-assed answer, then say "or you could just..."

*"F-H-U-T-A" light comes on for the audience*

With the obiligatory "Sell your ____! It's All Over" show. It could be a show hosted by four fanboys. It would be comedic gold.

That would be awesome... someone needs to make that shirt so I can wear it to E3 :)

I like the idea of arena but it to make it interesting they'd have to play more than just fps games and the people on the show would have to actually be good.

I watched them play amped or something and man... the only explainable way for people to be that bad is if they had never played amped, never played any game even remotely similar to any sort of boarding game, don't know the controls, and the hosts of the show refuse to tell them the controls, and halfway through the level the controls change on you.

Arena sucks. Robot Wars (WHY keep this G4, WHY?!?) stinks. Cheat is a waste of time. So is Anime Unleashed. But hey, let's KEEP those shows and cancel the decent or good stuff!!! YEAH!!

So is Pulse still going to be on? That's where the new hosts came from. I also saw part of the show last night, and thought I was actually watching Pulse at first. Left the room and came back in to see Sarah interviewing some DVD website guy and figured this must have been a TSS rerun. Then I notice Kevin Rose is doing a segment with that Asian chick from other G4 shows and is standing in the same part of the set where Yoshi used to have his PC stuff. THEN I see that Kevin and Sarah aren't even the hosts anymore...WTF? Thanks for killing another show off, G4.

Why didn't G4 just keep Tech TV and G4 as separate networks? They could have moved X-Play to G4 and made Tech TV all about *PC* related things, and G4 all about console gaming.

Hey, I'm a Mac guy, always have been, always will be, and yet I was so much happier seeing some geeks going over Windows and Linux hacks than the trendy fucktards they have on the channel right now.

I really have to wonder how the ratings are. From what I recall, TechTV had built a loyal viewership and G4 (by virtue of being so young) had next to no viewers. When I heard of the merger, I had sorta assumed that G4 would take on what had proven to work from TechTV instead of throwing it all in the garbage.

Nothing is sweeter than tipping back a few, kicking back and watching a rousing 30 minute episode of Arena or Cheat. I'll tell you, it's some of the best experiences in TV watching I have ever had. Oh and the Cinmatech shows that still show trailers from games 3 years ago are totally sweet too. And nothing could be better than the gutting and reincarnation of The Screen Savers. So much awesomeness packed inside each episode now it grips me until the next show. Shoving all these fantastic G4 shows in our face while getting rid of the TechTV shows is such a great idea! When is Sweat on next? I gotta make sure I set my timer! I <3 G4.

I just visited the TSS forums, what a riot. Just about every thread thats started is a rant against the changes to the show, and they all get locked almost instantly with a carefully worded these boards are private property message. :lol

What do they expect? G4 utterly ignores what the fans of the show actually want, then silence them when they do their bog-given duty and troll/bitch about it.

The strategy behind the aquisition was to buy TechTV's space on sattelites and other TV carriers.

The shows, personalites and other talent were secondary.

G4 is owned by Comcast and all these other carriers we're slow to give their competitor a slot for their channel. So G4 bought up TechTV, snagged all the home and are currently in the process of gutting the channel so it can be plain, old Comcast-owned G4.

I thought both G4 and TechTV were owned by Comcast and they just decided to merge them together.

Yes, yes! It's the afternoon action block... "Sell Your ___ It's All Over", followed by a half-hour of "Fanboy'z List!"
