There's something different about GAF compared to other forums.. I think it's the most aesthetically pleasing too. Other forums are just meh after you've been to GAF.

I wonder how many more meltdowns/conversions I'll make it through..

Hmm, I'm at #113. I expected far more than that to be past me.

Anyway, I'm checking in all the time. If I'm in my apartment, I'm pretty much going to be in front of my laptop. It helps that I'm wireless enabled, so where I go, my laptop goes. At the same time though, I might be reading books, watching TV, doing homework, writing scripts, etc. GAF is what I do when taking a break from other things That break just comes rather frequently.

I noticed lately that a lot of posters reply to certain topics within minutes of a new post... several times a day. It really does make me wonder if everybody here at GAF live at their PC desks. O__o

So I'm curious how and when do you guys browse the forums (or just the internet/other forums in general)? Do you check it out every hour? Every two hours? Or do you only have one specified session a day for it?

Also, how does it flow with the rest of your day? Like your studies, gaming, etc...



In my case, I do everything within a few feet of my PC so I check the forum all the time in little 5-10 minute sessions. I also study on the same desk which is a horrible combination-- I check out my subscribed topics after finishing a section or a bunch of HW problems. I guess you could say I live at my PC desk.

Usually before work for an hour or two and after I get home for a few more hours. Then sundays I usually watch football and post in the NFL thread.

I read the boards all day when I'm at work. It's a rough life I know...

I'm usually on GAF everyday, i work 3-11pm so you'll never see me at those times but I'm on from 8-10am til just before work 2pm. I'm not staring at my PC i will watch TV play some games or do other things but whenever i get a chance i F5 and see what's up. When i get home it's GAF until i watch SportsCenter once or twice, then i go to bed and the cycle begin anew.

Oh, I know that. GA is MUCH larger (post wise) to Clutchfans (formerly ClutchCity.net). The member count includes plenty of lurker, although the same is true for GAF.

GAF and life should never be in the sentence. Well, for me. I spend too much time. Like someone previously said everything I do is around a computer so I usually check pretty frequently. I'm doing my homework right now and I'm probably going to be up too late tonight because of you guys! I need sleep dammit. I also have a 300 page book to read in 10 days because my English AP class is a bitch. Somehow I still manage to get things done but GAF sure makes it close.
