The best thing about this? It's forcing me to listen to the GAME compilation. Frrozzen Echoes = fucking awesome.

Ok think I am done on Frrozzen Echoes. 2nd place with colors - not so bad. 1K off Tre. The other songs just have too much congestion for me to really make what is what.

I may ditch ironmode next time as that seems to have prohibited a lot of people.

I'd say ditch Ironmode. Seems to restrict a few people, myself included. Having to race down a song with 360+ congestion is not my idea of fun.

I don't know how you can play pusher at those speeds. Cyborg implants?

And yeah, dropping ironmode is fine. Songs of that length and speed don't need low visibility to add to the difficulty.

There's no real point difference between ironmode and non-ironmode, so you're really just making it harder/challenging (enjoyable) on yourself.



Edited: HURR. Apparently, I'm mentally incapable of remembering to follow my own rules. You can now choose to play with Ironmode if you want. If there seems to be a major point discrepancy that can't be explained by the players who choose to play in Ironmode (I.E. ironmode make a significant point difference), the option will go away for good.

Well, thats what I was thinking most of the competition would be like using GAME, when I went through some of it in audiosurf a while ago I remembered most of it being uphill. I was surprised at having this many downhill songs already..

I kinda think we should open possible competition tracks to any albums made freely available by the artist, that way we get a bit more variety in types of music and tracks.

Notice that I did not mention what songs for future dates. Partially because I'm lazy. Partially because there's a nifty freebie 8-bit album and another freebie album put out inspired by audiosurf.

I dont really like the songs compared to the ones I normally play on Audiosurf, I just seem to do pretty horrible.

Sounds interesting, links? There are many albums that have been released free that work great in audiosurf though, so I think it would be good to switch it up if the style of the music you have planned is similar to GAME.

I dont think I can de-throne you Tekno you're too good, goddamn I dunno how you get 200k on some of these songs with only pusher.

well, it looks like I missed out on a couple rounds already, but I gotta drop anyway. one of my RAM sticks went bad in my PC and I can't play Audiosurf with 512mb (I run a really low end system).

Possibly. I'm running out of songs that are challenging (like 240+ traffic) that people find enjoyable and are free etc. Plus there's only like 3 people playing on each mode :(.

maybe we should advertise a new tourney and get more people interested before we start again since some people want to start at the beginning of the tourney
