Alright, here's my ballot:

1. Portal 2
Considering the first Portal is probably my favorite game of all time, I came into Portal 2 with high expectations. Usually, that leads to my opinion of the game being more critical than it probably should. However, even eight months after it's release, Portal 2 is a game I look back on in the highest regard. Everything I liked about Portal is expanded upon here: the characters, writing, and humor are all just as good as any other game ever released. Not only that, but the actual core gameplay is still just as refreshing to play today as it was four years ago. No other game has that perfect balance of difficulty that isn't too easy to make you feel bored, but also isn't too challenging to make you frustrated. So not only is Portal 2 a worthy follow up to my favorite game of all time, it's a worthy pick for my number one game of 2011.

2. Batman: Arkham City
Just like everyone else, I was pleasantly surprised with Batman: Arkham Asylum when it released in 2009. It was a game that none other before it could do: It actually made you feel like you were The Batman. Arkham City is a game that, just like my number one pick in Portal 2, expands upon the great mechanics and ideas of the original, and result is a follow up worthy of the original. I cannot think of a game where the combat is so simple, yet so gratifying. It is so easy to get into the perfect flow of combat, and pull off things that I could only dream of doing in other combat systems. Add in all the great fanservice sprinkled throughout the game, and this is the game that any Batman fan will love.

3. Super Mario 3D Land
Super Mario 3D Land was a surprise when I first played it. Probably due to the fact it was released on the 3DS more than what I had seen of the game, but I came into it expecting a fun game, but ultimately nothing special. Boy was I wrong. What I got was a fantastic entry in the Super Mario series (aren't they all though?). Just genius level design and excessive levels of charm exude from from this game everytime I played it. It's just a game you cannot help and smile while playing. Adding the fact that it is probably the best use of 3D in a video game, and you get a game that I consider the killer app for the 3DS.

4. Dead Space 2
This is a late entry, but I liked it too much. I'm not completely done with it, but I'm far enough to know it's one of my top 10. Such a good game.

5. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Another game that surprised me; Deus Ex was a game that came out of nowhere for me. It's a game that truly gives you the options to play different ways. And the world is one of the most realized this year.

6. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Yeah it's a remake of a game that came out back in 1998. That doesn't change the fact that it is still one of the best games I played in 2011. The gameplay still holds up today, even 13 years later. Not only that, but the updated visuals makes it a great game to play still.

7. Gears of War 3
A fantastic ending to the trilogy. The campaign is probably the best the series has ever been, and the multiplayer is a huge step up from Gears of War 2.

8. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Uncharted 2 was my 2009 Game of the Year, and while the Uncharted 3 doesn't quite hit the highs of it's predecessor, it is still a good game.

9. Mario Kart 7
Another 3DS game. For what was supposed to be a rocky first year for the system, I really did enjoy a good amount of titles. Anyways, Mario Kart 7 is basically Mario Kart Wii. And Mario Kart DS. And Double Dash. And Super Circuit. And 64. And Super Mario Kart. Only thing is, it's still really good. And if the online play is any indication, it is that Nintendo is finally starting to get it.

10. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
The single player isn't much, but the multiplayer is my go to game at the moment. I know people hate the series, but even after the dissapointments of Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops, I feel like Modern Warfare 3 is a return to form.

1. Portal 2 - Absolutely amazing game, surpassed the original in many ways.
2. Warriors: Legends of Troy - Incredibly underrated, had an innovative combat system that focused around parrying and blocking incredibly well with thought out boss fights. Sadly, the studio behind it now makes social networking games. I felt like it was a step forward in the Warriors franchise and it's a shame that the studio won't be able to make more games in the same style.
3. Yakuza 4 - Great sequel to Yakuza 3, every character's storyline felt complete and they all linked together incredibly well nothing felt half assed at all.
4. Dynasty Warriors 7
5. Driver: San Francisco
6. Deus Ex Human Revolution
7. Dark Souls
8. Sonic Generations
9. LA Noire
10. Dead Space 2

2010: Vanquish

8. Ghost Trick
9. Infamous 2
10. Batman: Arkham City

6. Dead Nation (PS3) *LttP*- Challenging and relentless twin stick shooter, with upgradeable weapons, and armor. Persistent character weapons and equipment make this game even better when played a second time, and online coop is great fun as the game becomes even more difficult with a second player joining in.
10. Hardcorps: Uprising (PS3) - Classic side scrolling action platform shooter with excellent replay value. Difficulty can be pretty high for those of us who aren't experts at this style of game, but a persistent character mode lets you gradually increase character health and upgrade weapons takes away the frustration normally present in this type of game.

Wasn't Dead Nation released (US at least) at the end of 2010? I'm pretty sure I joined PS+ after it came out and I joined PS+ Christmas of last year.

Good call on Hard Corps. That might be my #10 as I edit. It will get an honorable mention, at least. :)

4) Deus Ex: HR; It's like Skyrim but in the Future!
5)Dance Central 2; Who doesn't like dancing?
6) LA Noir: It Starts good and it feels like something new then rinse and repeat.

xx - Battlefield 3; pretty shooter
xx - Pinball FX 2 DLC; I bought them all, really it's just an addiction at this point.

Considering Skyrim is my favorite game and one of the few games i played this year

1: Skyrim

2: Super Street fighter 4 AE

3: Dark Souls only because it ALMOST got me to buy a PS3 to call my own just to play it.

1. Yakuza 4 ; The story was the really good, I loved the characters and it was a ton of fun.
2. Disgaea 4 ; Sardines! It's a funny and very charming game
3. Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together ; I loved the 2d art, the battles and the story was interesting too.
4. Sonic Generations ; Both classic and modern levels were a lot of fun. The visuals were great too.
5. Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation ; Charming story, although weaker than the two previous DQ games.
6. LittleBigPlanet 2 ; Charming levels, and it has an awesome level creator I didn't really use much
7. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny ; Very good mix of different "activities to do, wether you fight, fish, farm, build relationships, cook food, make weapons, explore the sea, ect.
8. Xenoblade Chronicles ; Beautiful world to explore, interesting story and very refined sidequest-system
9. Catherine ; It felt really fresh, I had a great time with the story
10. Uncharted 3 ; The opening and story between Sully and Drake was great. I enjoyed it a lot.

x. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
x. L.A. Noire
x. Minecraft
x. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I feel as though my vote means little as I've yet to play so much shit that came out this year, namely Portal 2, Uncharted 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Batman: Arkham City...

The list goes on :(

1. Dark Souls ; Even the less-polished final third of the game couldn't keep this from being my favorite thing in 2011.
2. Skyward Sword ; Had some gripes with backtracking, underwater collect-a-thons, and rehashing, but overall still a stellar game.
3. Xenoblade ; Tailed off near the end, but that was after 80 hours or so of good times.
4. Child of Eden ; Short, but fantastic while it lasted and I'll enjoy returning to it down the line.

I had a longer list that included Portal 2, Batman: AC, Uncharted 3, but I realized all of those games were great but mildly disappointing to me for some reason so I left them off.

Deus Ex and Skyrim are two games I've purchased but not put more than a few hours in, so they didn't make the list. I suspect Skyrim would be up there had I put aside time to play it though.

Sonic Generations almost got a nod, since it was cheap, great looking, and surprisingly fun on the PC. I haven't considered adding a Sonic game to a best of list since the Dreamcast days, so good going Sega. Finally.

 1. Deus Ex: Human Revolution ; Felt like a westernized Metal Gear Solid more than a Deus Ex game, which worked surprisingly well in the end.
 2. Portal 2 ; Fantastic writing and tons of fun solving puzzles, especially in co-op.
 3. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings ; Solves just about every issue I had with the first game. Very well polished.
 4. Bastion ; Fantastic game. Pacing was excellent with virtually no filler and the method for adjusting difficulty was brilliant.
 5. Skyrim ; I was skeptical that I'd enjoy this since I got bored of Oblivion pretty quickly. I'm level 35 or so after just a couple of weeks with no sign of slowing down. Love this game.
 6. LittleBigPlanet 2
 7. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception ; Great game, but really felt like I was treading familiar ground. Especially during the second half.
 8. The Stanley Parable ; incredibly enjoyable game that made me want to keep playing until I got all of the endings, and that's just what I did.
 9. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
 10. Magicka ; Tons of fun experimenting with all of the different element combinations, but once you figure out the powerful combinations it loses any semblance of challenge.
 11. (HM) Sideway: New York ; Excellent platformer with a unique style tha tI quite enjoyed.

I might end up moving some of these around... but this is my preliminary list...

1. Star Wars: The Old Republic
2. The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings
3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
4. Batman: Arkham City
5. Battlefield 3
6. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
7. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
8. Portal 2
9. Pokemon Black/White
10. Uncharted 3

1. Dark Souls ; What video games are supposed to be. Beautiful, creative, well designed and challenging with one of the best combat systems ever. If I could give this game all 10 spots I would - it's that much better than everything else released this year

2. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
3. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
4. Portal 2
5. Saints Row The Third
6. Battlefield 3
7. Batman: Arkham City

As always, I haven't played many new games this year. My list:

1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Yeah, I understand that the PS3 version is broken, and if I didn't get new PC it would prevent me from playing this at all... But on PC, this plays wonderfully and is an amazing achievement. Not perfect, but what game is?

2. Might & Magic: Heroes VI. I loved III, I loved V and now I'm in love with VI. Some fresh things, not many annoying things, good leveling system, beautiful graphics and a promise of proper town screens in a future update makes me a happy fan of the franchise.

3. Alice: Madness Returns. It's great platformer that you surely won't beat in one sitting. Amazing art direction and memorable story (it's Alice, after all). Not many such games on PC nowadays...

4. Frozen Synapse. I'm three or four levels in, and I can already tell that this will be love/hate relationship. It requires you to think! And the soundtrack is the best electronic music I've heard in years.

LTTP Vote: Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga. It's great RPG that you enjoy the most if you don't take it very seriously. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm far enough to recommend it for every WRPG fan out there who has nothing against a more actiony approach to the genre (that's now a common thing, isn't it...)

1. Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP ; It's $3, it's an iOS game, it has purposely lo-fi graphics and it can be completed in less than five hours. And still, it has the one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard; its visuals are captivating and while it is simple, it is not without its challenge. The writing is brilliant - clever and amusing without being pretentious. And just when you see a line you want to share with your friends - every line of the game doesn't just fit in a tweet, Twitter is BUILT IN TO THE GAME. There is nothing about this game that is not memorable or noteworthy. The collaboration of Superbrothers, Capybara and Jim Guthrie has yielded something far greater than the sum of its parts; something surprising that outshines every other game on its platform and possibly on handhelds in recent memory - the first game since I was a child to leave me just sitting, wondering about it when I'm not playing it; thinking about the parts of the world the game never shows and filling them in with my own imagination. Bravo.

2. inFAMOUS 2 ; The continued adventures of Cole MacGrath are buoyed by an awareness of what didn't work in the original game ("defend the truck" missions) and what did (combat gets a serious upgrade in terms of feel). The Amp is cool; Fire and Ice powers are cooler. Sucker Punch still doesn't hold any character sacred, as is clear by the credits. Fantastic music as well; only serious clipping issues hold it back.

3. Catherine ; The Persona team can do more than just RPGs. Love it or hate it, Catherine demands to be played. Near-nudity frames a surprisingly grown-up story; the characters are all endearing in their own way and the gameplay isn't exactly like any other puzzle game I've encountered. The sudden realization of just how fun the battle mode is has helped this stay fresh in my mind since release, and even better - it's getting cheaper now. Take a chance and give it a shot.

4. Deus Ex: Human Revolution ; DXHR is difficult enough to feel rewarding just clearing a room, yet is flexible enough to allow you to complete entire areas of the game offing enemies with just a vending machine. By now we all know about the frustratingly limited boss fights and the weird change of pace in the final act; yet the game as a whole succeeds in what it has attempted to do. Probably the most meaningful legacy this game leaves is the heated discussions I've had with others about the very idea of augmentation that exists in the game's world.

5. Gears of War 3 ; Still gorgeous after all these years, the dialogue in Gears has finally built to the point where the characters are now just slightly more than caricatures of UFC fans. The end of act 3 is one of the most frantic, memorable moments in any action game I've played - not because of the story arc but because of the sheer volume of opposition the game throws at you and the desperation you begin to share with Delta Squad. My biggest complaint is that the game sometimes feels too easy, as if it is pulling punches.

6. Portal 2 ; I think we all asked ourselves "how do you make Portal a full-length campaign?" Valve's answer serves as a master class in pacing and player instruction. The rooms still constantly force the player to question what they learned just previous and the gels add just enough newness to make the player think differently. It's as quotable as the first one without resorting to callbacks from Portal. Only the constant loading keeps this from notching a bit higher.

7. You Don't Know Jack ; Absolutely zero trivia games were released between the previous YDKJ release and this. Sure, Buzz!, Smarty Pants, Think Fast and Scene It! exist, but just that - YDKJ is fun for a group personified. It doesn't do much new and it doesn't have to - just knowing that Cookie is still there is enough.

8. Super Mario 3D Land ; I've gushed in previous years about the brilliance of Super Mario Galaxy, yet 3D Land feels still more like a real Mario game. The levels are perfectly sized for portable gaming but moreover there's no more health meter, growth mushrooms are back; even the flagpole returns. There have been games where you play as Mario, platforming in 3D, but somehow this makes those games seem less like real Super Mario games and that's its best achievement.

9. Little Big Planet 2 ; A week after this simple, side-scrolling platform game came out, I tried a user-made level that turned out to be a first-person adventure game taking place on a spaceship assaulted by aliens. It had cutscenes and everything. The LBP formula is still remarkable.

10. El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron ; Okay, I'm only about halfway through this game, but it is still memorable and remarkable. Visuals that never get tired because they're never the same and a constant awareness of just how long you've been doing the same thing lead to a wonderfully paced experience derived from a most surprising inspiration for a game. Another one of those games that I accept others may not like, but they still need to play.

x. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception ; A game whose biggest issue is that it must follow up its prequel. It never fails to go big, only to outshine U2. Still wonderful.

1. Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Take one of the greatest PC games of all time, put it in the hands of some of the most creative minds in the business, and you get your game of the
forever.
year.

1. Uncharted 3 - as expected, brilliant graphics, story and gameplay. Love how they explored Drake's past with Sully and the new exploration/action balance.
2. Atelier Totori - Improved on Rorona in every conceivable way. Totori proves that games doesn't need to be 'epic' in order to impress.
3. Disgaea 4 - incredibly flexible and deep mechanics. The perfect SRPG imo.
4. Yakuza 4 - brilliant characters, story and a much improved combat system.
5. Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll - perfectly crafted gameplay with mature plot and cast. Best ARPG this gen.
6. inFamous 2 - has less platforming elements than inF1 but is a huge step up gameplay-wise
7. Xenoblade - the scale of the world is insane
8. Little Big Planet 2 - fun, charming, infinite content, seriously just buy it if you haven't already
9. Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky - traditional JRPG with great storytelling
10. Killzone 3 - like KZ2, i had lots of fun with the MP

On retrospect, it would seem that I did not get the chance to play that many new games in 2011.

1. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - finished. A great game with a lot of heart.

2. Xenoblade Chronicles - finished... twice. Well not really, but got very far and for some reason decides to restart from the beginning.

3. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Xbox360 version - Currently playing. When it works, it works

4. Deus Ex Human Revolution - finished. Stupid ending mechanic, but great game nonetheless.

5. Radiant Historia <---- ADD THIS OP - finished. One of the my most played RPG this year. It's a wonder how so much awesome can be fit into a DS game. Great music.

6. Uncharted 3 - finished. Not too impressed but nevertheless a good game by almost all accounts.

7. Infamous 2 - finished. A competent adventure/super hero simulator that adds a lot of improvements to the original.

8. Top Spin 4 - The most realistic tennis virtual simulator I have ever bothered to try. Normally I did not play/like sport games but this one is certainly an exception.

...and that's it I suppose.

1.Uncharted 3: Felt different from u2.more puzzles, less shooting and my favorite arena style fights.
2.Deus Ex: Human Revolution: just felt great overall.so much choices and felt very metalgearish
3.Portal 2: great humor and clever puzzles
4.Skyrim: wonderful and expansive experience.

7.Resistance 3 : Weapon wheel and health packs.
8.Batman: Arkham City: Really well built game and love simple yet satisfying combat

10. Infamous 2: better than first one in every other way.

x.Space marine
x.Assasins creed:revelations

It was pretty amazing year for RPG fans out there:

1. The Witcher 2. ; Best CRPG also gets a competent battle system. Almost perfect game.
2. Xenoblade. ; Wow, this is what I expected from a next gen JRPG (i'm looking in you direction, FF13) - best game in this genre since FFXII.
3. Star Wars: The Old Republic. ; Finally compelling story in a MMO. Hooked.
4. Skyrim. ; Its so much better than Oblivion that I may even finish it some day.
5. Deus Ex: Human Revolution. ; There are just not enough cyber-punk games out there.
6. Uncharted 3. ; Still a good game, but I liked U1 and U2 better.
7. Infamous 2. ; Gameplay is still at focus which is becoming rare treasure this gen.
8. Rayman Origins. ; Beautiful, beautiful game. And challenging to boot.
9. Little Big Planet 2. ; Most innovative game this gen got better in everything.
10. Killzone 3. ; One of best use of 3D and Move so far.

Honorable mentions:

x. Minecraft - don't know if it can be nominated this year, but its definitely something special and should be mentioned.
x. LA Noir - Interesting game trying to do something new but not always successfully.
x. Dark Souls - Not Demon's Soul, unfortunately, but still very good game.
x. Dragon Age 2 - In another year it may have made it to my top10, but this year it had no chance. Still, I enjoyed the ride somewhat, I just wish it would retained more things from a PC version of DA1.

I really need to finish up Yakuza 4, seeing it on so many lists makes me think I'm missing out, especially considering how much I adore the series.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
2. Batman: Arkham City
3. The Binding of Isaac
4. Portal 2
5. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
6. Minecraft
7. Trine 2
8. Terraria
9. Bastion
10. Jamestown

I live in Brasil.

1. LOZ:Skyward Sword ; Usage of Motion Controls on one Nintendo's biggest IPs is risky but paid of for me.
2. Xenoblade ; It seemed like a lost gem from the 90s Square and the exploration in this game was breath taking.
3. Mario Kart 7 ; Best Mario Kart since it contains the most enjoyable Rainbow Road ever.
4. Super Mario 3DLAND ; Feels like a side scrolling Mario but in 3D .
5. Skyrim ; Would've placed in position 2 if it wasn't for the bug in Tending the flames (360).

Hey timetokill, add Corpse Party. Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is the sequel that came out this year in Japan, but the prequel only released in the west recently.

I think Skyrim or Darksouls will be GOTY here, Skyward Sword will take 3rd place Uncharted 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution will take 4Th and 5Th place
edit: I forgot portal 2,it will take 4TH place

1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim ; Great atmosphere. Took the best parts of Fallout 3 and Oblivion and messed it together.
2. Batman: Arkham City ; Awesome overall. Makes open world work for me.
3. Gears of War 3 ; Great single player story that can be had with friends. Overall enjoyable online and offline. Oh yeah, BEAST MODE!
4. Portal 2 ; Amazing writing. Funny quips. Kept me playing for days.
5. Battlefield 3 ; MP alone made this a top 5 for me. Closing in on being my most played game all year.
6. Mortal Kombat ; Got me back into fighting games. Actually had a story mode longer than most games these days.
7. Forza 4 ; I got to be the star in a decent price car. Enough said.
8. Dark Souls ; Awesome. Still wish it had a nexus like DS.
9. Deus Ex: Human Revolution ; Fresh. Really enjoyed the neo noir aspects.
10. Crysis 2 ; Best SP shooter of the year for me. Great multiplayer fun as well.

1. Deus Ex: Human Revolution ; The master in player expression. Hands down.
2. L.A. Noire; Good story, great setting. Details are flawed, the framework is impressive.
3. Batman: Arkham City; The best combat this year, great art direction, loved Catwoman.
4. Ghost Trick; It has Missile!
5. Portal 2; Great puzzle design, spot on writing, lovely art direction and animation.
6. Infamous 2; Very under appreciated game, super responsive controls, incredible dynamic lighting.
7. Fifa 12; Great update, ball physics are top notch, addition of player physics changes the game dramatically for the better.
8. Catherine; Fun novelty game, enjoyed the storytelling and bar segments the most.
9. Uncharted 3; Disappointing SP but hugely improved MP. Probably my MP of the year.
10. Resistance 3; Although radically different, best shooter SP since Modern Warfare.

Sonic Generations; Best Sonic game since Sonic 3 on the Genesis/Mega Drive
Dark Souls ; Bad community and open world design killed the game for me. Still a great idea and perfectly implemented in Demon's Souls.

Amnesia - The Dark Descent - Best game of 2010. This year only surpassed by Deus Ex.

I think Skyrim or Darksouls will be GOTY here, Skyward Sword will take 3rd place Uncharted 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution will take 4Th and 5Th place
edit: I forgot portal 2,it will take 4TH place

i think it will be skyrim and portal 2 battling it out for #1, with dark souls #3. batman is probably top five too and either zelda or uc 3 should round out the top five.

1. Dark Souls
2. Portal 2
3. Minecraft
4. Skyrim
5. Battlefield 3
6. Deus Ex: Humanr Revolution
7. Binding of Isaac
8. Ghost Trick
8. Zelda: Skyward Sword
10. Persona 2: Innocent Sin

1. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
2. Batman: Arkham City
3. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
4. Portal 2
5. The Witcher 2
6. Magicka

Deus Ex was easily my most anticipated release for the year, and I was not disappointed. It fixed most of the issues I had with DX1 (keep in mind my first playthrough was in 2007) - the godawful graphics, the dreadful controls, the terribad gunplay and so on. The openness (in a gameplay sense, not a geographical one) was truly refreshing, as was the cyberpunk aesthetic and soundtrack. The closing minutes of the game, the bossfights and some parts of the plot were detractors, but as a whole, nothing else I played this year came close to giving me as much enjoyment as this game did.

1. Skyrim, I love this game so much, if i could it would be on 2-10 to.
2. Battlefield 3, It's been a long time since i had so much fun with a multiplayer game.
3. Dead Space 2, Love this franchise, great game although the last chapters were somewhat dissapointing
4. Gears of War 3, Pretty dispapointed how they handled MP, but still had a great time with the singleplayer and horde
5. Bulletstorm. One of the biggest suprises this year, so much fun.

1. Minecraft ; If there was one game in our generation that so definied it. It'd be this. Too bad it'll be overlooked alot for GOTY this year since it's really been out for so long. Rating: ★★★★★

2. MotorStorm: Apocalypse ; Everything I want in a racer. It's fast, good looking and had the most addicting online mode of the year. Rating: ★★★★½

3. Tiny Tower ; Most likely the game I've spent the most time on this year. Deserves some praise too. Rating: ★★★★

4. LittleBigPlanet 2 ; This game was released in a time when I was starting to be creative again. It was a great way to put that creativity to good use. Rating: ★★★★

5. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim ; There are enough reasons to love it and all the reasons not to like it at all just drown in all the good things. Rating: ★★★★

6. L.A. Noire ; Haters be damned. This is a good game. A really good game. Could have been an even better game. But when this game is at its best I was at the edge of my seat. Rating: ★★★½

7. Catherine ; An original experience. Art direction and music are superb. Soundtrack is the best of the year. Rating: ★★★½

8. Battlefield 3 ; The first online multiplayer game I've enjoyed since Team Fortress 2. That's saying alot. Rating: ★★★½

9. Portal 2 ; I wasn't blown away like many people were. But there is something really charming at play here. A bit to formulatic but still one of the all-time greats. Rating: ★★★½

10. Renegade Ops ; Not only do I share name with the game designer. I also like this game alot. It's good arcady fun of the kind I had when I was a kid. Rating: ★★★½

i think it will be skyrim and portal 2 battling it out for #1, with dark souls #3. batman is probably top five too and either zelda or uc 3 should round out the top five.

Don't underestimate Human Revolution. Skyrim will win, but after Dark Souls and Zelda, I can see DXHR as the next runner up. Then Uncharted 3. Portal 2 will rank below all of those games.

yeah i forgot that game got 20k posts for some reason. i forget that it's popular simply because i didn't like it that much. i've been kinda numb to a lot of games lately, though.
