Dessa is an average rapper but a fantastic artist as a whole. I wouldn't enjoy an album of just her rapping but the back and forth between singing and rapping/spoken word is fantastic. As a Joni Mitchell fanboy, she reminds me a lot of her in some ways.

If you're up for a challenge, Dilla's Donuts, Ruff Draft, Jay Stay Paid or really any unreleased beat tape you can find is great.

Also keep an eye out for Cloud.'s and Damu's stuff, some really nice shit. They both have their catalogues on bandcamp I think.
