I really liked the first few tracks, totally different vibe than I remember...So much denser and darker, fitting the lyrics much better.

I can't decide which to play now. My Khajiit vampire hunter/pyro or an Imperial assassin/vampire lord/walking bloodbath. Gonna go read some lore and see if any of that pushes me one way or another.

Sneakers have been getting uglier and uglier the last few years. I mostly wear grown ass man shoes anyway, but the sneakers I do have I had to search forever for to find something that was a neon colored monstrosity with fucking tumors growing out of its ass.

Damn besides like three tracks including Jealous, this Fredo Santana is so fucking garbage. Dude can't even be bothered with rhyming half the time, and his hook game is also garbage most of the time, shit ain't even on beat.

Yep. I tried listening to it on Spotify but halfway through the album I just gave up. There's nothing worth listening to there outside of Jealous.

Both hot 97 and power 105.1 played a Jay Z mix this morning.

WHEW man sometimes you forget the hits he had. Blessed with possibly the best production any rapper has ever gotten plus his flow was on lock back in the late 90s and early 00s.

BTW anyone remember when Ed Lover was hosting the morning show on power 105? Who was his female co host? I tried to look it up but couldn't find out. And unless I am remembering incorrectly, didn't she leave over some sexual comments or harassment?

I heard the Power 105 mix myself this morning at work.

Gonna have to give Blueprint and Reasonable Doubt a listen when I get home later. Definitely got hit hard with nostalgia.

I don't remember anything about a female host, though. You sure you're not thinking about K. Fox on Hot 97?

No K Fox is much more recent on Hot 97.

This is back like in 07-08. I used to drive 1 hr each morning and listened to his show a lot and I remember some friction between him and some female co host who did the usual celeb gossip shit. I don't know why all of a sudden I have the urge to know. I think she was hot so that might be it.

I'm a Kanye hater now, and even I agree with this. If the tickets were affordable the show would have been full. Same with Drake, who has also struggled with low numbers at some big concert spots.

I'm not a big fan of the A$AP crew but lately they have been making the right moves, and I can actually list recent songs by them that I actually like.

Issa from The Underachivers kind of told Pro Era to shut the fuck up, so props to him.

That Nast song is better than anything I've heard from Pro Era outside of Water, which is a classic track. People been doing 90s throwbacks for ages, they're nothing new. The difference is that Nast beat is funky as hell, not just a dusty sample.

Speaking of hip-hop radio personalities, Angela Yee was at my gym like last month. I didn't meet her myself but I did see her at a stand talking to other people. She was talking about how she met 2 Chainz apparently.
