Eminem doesn't have an album touching GKMC or TPAB or UU.

Summer on smash > kdot discographyYou know, I was watching The Get Down today and hearing Nas' narration made me think about something... I feel like Kendrick already by far eclipsed Nas artistically and legacy-wise in every aspect. Give me one reason why Nas should be in the all-time Top 5 over Kenny. Which one of his albums ever were as creative, meaningful, cohesive, and critically acclaimed as Kendrick's last 3 albums in a row? And this is coming from someone who loved all Nas albums back in the days (Street's Disciple and Lost Tapes being my faves besides Illmatic, obviously).

How can it seriously be argued that Kendrick has surpassed Nas legacy wise? You know, I was watching The Get Down today and hearing Nas' narration made me think about something... Kendrick has one of the best discography's of any rapper to ever live with two classic albums, one really good album, and one great album with only one dud and that was his first album. He currently has a bit of sustained success, he has the numbers, he has the talent, what doesn't he have to be top 5 all time?
He's my number 2 favorite rapper all time rn.
Eminem sucks, Jared Leto sucks, Requiem for a Dream sucks
First, his first album is better than GKMC and TPAB, havent heard Damn just yet. Also it is still too early to call those classics, more time has to pass. lets see how he finishes his career or wait more years to see where he ends up.
Eminem is great, what's wrong?
1. His first album is OD, which is trash, second, GKMC and TPAB are seen as classics in not only Rap but also music as a whole with one of the albums having a song that was the song of a fucking movement.
2. Again, they are already classics.
3. Eminem is shit, hasn't released good music in over 10 years
4. Call me when he's relevant and means something to someone who isn't a edgy white boy
Overly Dedicated is a shitty album, no good songs, nothing memorable, and overall bad. You are the only human being to ever exist who thinks that it's his best album. You are a heavy outlier, like, you shouldn't/don't exist levels. How is OD bad? It's his best album by far. Also even if Eminem didn't release anything good in that long you still need to take into consideration his earlier work. Why would it matter if someone is relevant or not? I only care about good music, not who is popular.
requiem for a dream is a shitty movie. it starts out with all these drug addicts, and then they get more addicted to drugs, and then the movie ends. great. solid arc. the entire movie could be cut in to a 20 minute PSA that ends with a title card that says DRUGS ARE BAD. like, fuck, we get it. at least with trainspotting you care about the characters, and they fucking do things. requiem for a dream is just a stupid, nihlistic movie that is not nearly as deep as it thinks it is.
darren aranofsky did make the wrestler and black swan tho. those movies good.
Fuck your opinion breh, shit on rappers who single handedly spurred a stylistic change in rap and ushered in a decade of glorious East Coast dungeon rap. Even if every other Nas album was garbage, the legacy behind Illmatic is so powerful he'd still be catapulted into the upper echelon of rap royalty. It's his golden goose, It Was Written was great, Stillmatic was good but honestly he's cemented in the top five because that album was that good. It has songs that have been featured in countless films, its lines have functioned as the linear notes for future rap careers spawning themes and album tracks in its wake. So fuckouttahere with this fuck Nas bullshit. All I have to say is fuck Nasir Jones
That is all
Jared Leto was incredible in Dallas Buyer's Club, was great in Mr. Nobody, American Psycho, and Lord of War.new joker dude is not a good actor. was awful in dallas buyer's club, which also sucked

Nigga I don't give a fuck about what change he did, he ain't have a single fucking good album! None, zero, zip! Nigga's trash as fuckFuck your opinion breh, shit on rappers who single handedly spurred a stylistic change in rap and ushered in a decade of glorious East Coast dungeon rap. So I repeat
Fuck Nas
So no second album from Kendrick then huh

Most agree that Nas is the greatest or one of the greatest so like you say your opinion doesn't matter
I know people have their own opinion but I literally can't fathom or comprehend how someone can't like Nas.
man shut the hell up. i never mention you and your trash posts and yet you constantly feel the need to call me out.
nobody likes you dude. you're obnoxious. your posts are shit. disagreeing and not liking Nas is understandable, but you take shit to the next level with your garbage opinions.
This is going to end up in a ban one way or another, so calm the fuck down both of you.
Seriously, it's a message board, just ignore list one another and be done with it.
Only people I purposefully fuck with, are in the BCT and that's only with the Nas and Tupac thing. I don't really give two shits about disco if we bein real, but obviously it got him feeling some type of way, lol.I mean you can troll while sharing an honest opinion it's all about how it's presented...And trolling is fine and at all but if it's not funny it starts to become asinine and pointless.
Disco, never get attached to an argument you're not willing to leave in 30 seconds if you feel the mods around the corner.
I had to comeback for Waingro.
Getting heated about hippity-hop music on an internet forum, brehs
RE: Kendrick Top 5 discussion: Whatever y'all do, don't watch the latest video of Rosenberg talking about Kendrick's DAMN. on Hot97's YouTube. There are some claims people make that cannot be taken back. We need a stronger word for stannery after this.

So you're not supposed to share a little passion for rap and rap artists in a hip hop thread now? Stop with the fake laissez-faire attitude you wouldn't respond so swiftly every fucking time if you didn't LionPride
only thing good about requiem for a dream is the soundtrack and ass 2 ass
also Requiem for a Dream is meh, haven't been too hot on Aronofksy movies tbh outside of Fountain and The Wrestler. those were dope.
