I think I'll stop using my tired 9th Wonder/Dilla Soul sample folders when I'm making beats next time and instead go through my gigs of obscure JRPG soundtracks more. So many potential gems in there. I mean, already did it a few times (certified Weeb Creds™ to whoever recognizes the sample I used here), but I've been mostly doing dusty Boom Bap stuff in the last year or so.
Bingo. I hope your other one is either OoT or LA, though.one of the only two zelda games that matter

Been really into this mix lately. Dudes drop some quality shit now and then.
Bless up. I love production/mixing/master talks like this. I watched an interview with Tuamy last year where he talked about Thugga in the studio, too.Red Bull Music Academy segment with Young Thug's engineer, Alex Tumay.
It's mostly technical stuff in there, but it's timestamped at the point he talked about last minute changes Thug wanted for JEFFERY in the 12 hours before it had to be submitted and how he had to mix in an Uber because he couldn't get access to a studio lol
He goes to talk some more about Thug's attention to detail when recording, and helping TLC rerecord all of their songs from CrazySexyCool for the VH1 thing they did, and earlier he talks about mixing Ocean Drive for 21.
Oh, didn't know this one, will check out. I only discovered Saba after his recent album. Bucket List was on my AOTY list. Do you like this one more than Bucket?Saba - ComfortZone
FUCK. I MISSED OUT ON TICKETS FOR MIGOS' C U L T U R E CLASS.
Migos are hosting an event at NYU where they talk about the album and I missed out on tickets. I'm going to go see if the university has any tickets left at the box office.
NYU's pretty good with musicians. My freshman year, the Welcome show had Ratking, Jamie xx, and Ghostface Killah. Sophomore year, it was Vic Mensa, Sophie who brought Koi and QT, and Tei Shi. This year, it was DRAM, Kamaiyah, and one more who I forgot. Spring shows are lit too, so far it's been Chance the Rapper and Future.Huh, that sound interesting. IT's cool that they get rappers to do lectures at university, I know Lil' B did one at MIT.

I loved Grime in my youth, but I find it so boring nowadays.
Dizzee Rascal was the shit back in the days. Mind-blowing when I was a kid.Never listened to Grime, but I'm guessing Wiley may be a good place to start?
Just suck his dick already
