Also, I am indeed planning to be a host for Season 4, but my design doc's in its infancy at the moment (theme indecision, bleh), so um, I guess you could move on to the primary sign-ups as if I'm not included as a host as of yet

Okay, I think I can go into the open with this now without totally embarrassing myself:
I have written a tool to automate votecounts: Link
I didn't mod a game myself yet, but constantly keeping track of the votecount seems to me like a really annoying task. Plus it has the benefit that the players can get an updated votecount even if the mod is asleep or otherwise busy. It even puts out ready-to-use forum code to display votecounts in the familiar way.
To make it recognize end and beginning of day phases, the mod has to use day X begins and day X has ended (Highlight Tags are important, but the tool is not case sensitive).
If you mod a game and want to use the tool, feel free to PM me.
If you are a player and want to use the tool in your game, try to convince the mod to use the above phrases
If you are currently in any way affiliated with the Election game, feel free to test the living shit out of it and report me any bugs you encounter.
If you are Fireblend and are in a game that is supported by this tool, please consider putting your Bold-Tags outside the Highlight-Tags instead of inside. It doesn't like if there is too much stuff after a vote command.

We're going to be taking a break anyway to talk about what was good and what was bad about the games, give season 4 mods a little time to polish, and we keep a recruitment thread up in off-topic for a bit to gather newbies so there is time until season 4 actually starts. Again, not my call though, I know what he's said about how long the game takes but I can't really know for sure.
