I dislike how IPA's have taken over the scene. Right now my go to relax beer is a local Sun Up White Russian.

I voted IPA just because stouts are in the lead at the moment. I don't discriminate. Give me a Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout or a Victory Dirtwolf double IPA and I'll be a happy man. That said I'll take a Belgian strong ale like Duvel over either.

I'll drink an IPA more often than a stout, but nothing hits the spot better than a stout on the right day

IPA no doubt. I like stouts, but I usually only can drink a few at a time. I can drink IPAs all day.

Being in northern california there's a shitload of good local IPAs, but there's a certain market saturation that is sure to run it's course in the next couple years

That is one of the cheapest beers out there, like PBR or High Life. Its both a hipster beer and an old man beer. Looked down upon by beer snobs. It isn't half bad tho.

My go to is Yuengling Golden Pilsner

Oh I did not know that, I asked the Barkeeper for what he would recommend and well, he gave me the Narragansett
But i did like it tho, nothing lost here.
