I'm getting the game on Saturday and a stick on Tuesday and I don't even know if my internet will work well for online play...

I was looking at the graphics of the PSN side and scanning the barcode. The ones I was specifically scanning were the regulars on PSN Gaf Chat. It read FRAY.99.

Let me welcome you back to gaf ranbats. This was supposed to happen a while ago but fuck it. I decided to let people learn the game.

The Rules for Season 2
  1. 64 players. 1 Console per player. 1 Character per player. Matches are 2 out of 3 rounds 99 Seconds. 2 out of 3 matches per opponent(this is a set).
  2. You have a Week to play your match. The Ranbats will last for 9 weeks
  3. Week 1 is a Ranking week and does not affect your ranbat score Week 2-9 are ranbat weeks.
  4. The ranking week will take place in tournament mode anyone not able to make the tournament mode date (TBD) will simply be assigned a lower pool. 1-2nd place for the 4 tournaments = pool 1 3-4 pool 2 5-6 pool 3 7-8 pool 4.
  5. Report your match results in the thread (the thread will go up when my brackets are full signups will remain open till both consoles have 32 players)
  6. If you cannot play a match (due to connection issues or other circumstances) Report it. If only one player reports that player will get the win. if both players report it will be ruled a draw and both players will receive half-credit)
  7. Please do not sign up if you cannot commit to play 8 matches against various people You will mess up my brackets...and that will enrage me
  8. FIGHT WITH DIGNITY AND HONOR
Dunno how many people would be getting it for PC so as of right now they get nothing...if enough noise is made though...mebbe?

Scoring

1 round = 0.5 points = 1 point per match

Win the set but lose a round or two? Get 3 points
Win the set without losing a round? Get 4 points NO MERCY!

Even losers get points.

Lose the set but win a round 0.5 points.
Win a match of the set? 1 point.
Win a round and a match but lose the set? 1.5 pts
BE A SPOILER! RUIN THEIR RECORD!

When do signups begin? How about nowish?

I think you look at the "this week's matchups" section in the OP and those numbers correspond to the tiers as he points out below. Though that confuses me a little because some numbers appear in there multiple times and some don't appear at all. Maybe I'm wrong.

I think Kuma meant 07 VS 17, and it would make a bit more sense.
even so, that doesnt explain the rest of the multiple numbers.

And I think one of 22's many matches is supposed to be for 21 (my number) since otherwise it doesn't look like I'm on there.
