congrats man....that was just what you wanted for a lot less than you planned to pay!
Well, unfortunatley I bought a brand new Famicom from ebay just a week ago for a good price at 75. So with this I feel like if nothing else I can sell or trade for another. Id like to collect a few of these bad boys.

THREAD SAVED!!!!

MAD props to adg1034 for selling me this bad boy.

It truly is a thing of beauty. Glad to see it being appreciated so thoroughly.

On another note, you guys seem to have infected me with the collecting bug. I've got a used Famicom edition Micro on its way to my local Gamestop (hopefully arriving this week). That took a fair bit of calling, believe me.

the only downside to the gameboy micro is its crappy sound quality, you can hear all sorts of noise and audio whistle. Distracting when you are. used to something like psp

Does anyone else have dead pixels? Its not too bad, but just more annoying cause I know its there, haha. Wondering if I should look at the famicom edition someone is selling locally on craigslist.

I'm just curious, is it against Gaf TOS to put up Micros for sale here, or discuss that I may perhaps potentially be willing to part with mine?

I was wondering if anyone knows any sites that sell the screws that micro uses on the outside. Those little tiny ones because mine is missing several of them and I want to securely seal it so I won't get shocked or anything.

Is $50 good for a 20th Anniversary Game Boy Micro with just the systrem and no box or charger?

It's about right. If it's the Japanese version, maybe a bit more than the US.

You looking to buy or sell?

Yes. Where are you getting it from?

From a friend.

Buy it, but I'm not sure if it is worth it without the box and then having to spend the money on a charger which I'm not even sure how much those run?

Its a decent price if it's in mint condition. Chargers are extremely cheap on ebay.

I found a silver one that one of the local gamestop had in stock. $30!

I also picked up a SimCity they had for $5, and that looks really good on it.

The TMNT is my favorite original GBA beat em up, it's really good!!

Definitely US then

Ok cool. $50 isn't bad for that. I got lucky and got a brand new in box US 20th for $87 shipped, so take that into consideration.

Seems like they go for around 100-150 new on ebay brand new.

yeah I'm thinking i may be able to get it dropped to 35 or 40

Still looking for one myself...looked around locally and none to be found...and most of the cheaper ones on ebay want $20-$30 to ship to Canada =(

Glad to see this game getting some love, a late GBA game with a lot of care put into it, even for a licenced game. :D

Apparently no one sells tri-wing screws online. I guess I'm sol then?

Sorry, missed this post you made.

Dealextreme has em for 85 cents and free shipping.

They also have the combo triwing and regular screwdriver set for $1.37 with free shipping.

The ones DX has are great. They're magnetized, and are a good build quality. Have had mine now for years and use it all the time.

Also, as I was mentioning before, trying to find a micro in Canada (or someone willing to ship to Canada) for sub $50, so if anyone has one avail just pm me and we can work something out =)

I actually bought the screw driver earlier. The problem is my micro is missing some screws and I was hoping to find some place online that would sell them, but I looked around and had no luck finding a store. Only thing I can do now is buy a broken Micro for real cheap and strip all it's screws. Thanks for the link though.

This thread is horrible for my wallet, can't you hear it, screaming in the night?

I'm trying to figure out which one I like best, leaning towards solid black at the moment.

eBay prices are through the roof.

Believe me, I would have one by now except the Gamestop near me that has two does not have the AC adapters. Apparently, they closely resemble the ones for the NDS, and some employees accidentally sold them with NDS systems.

:(

They are all over the place. Amazon has some, ebay is filled with you, you can get one from Deal Extreme for under $1 if you are willing to wait a month, ect.

Edit: Oh, the screws them selves. Try ebay some more?

Depending on where you are, that might be a little difficult. In the US the black micro came with a silver faceplate, and the silver micro came with a black faceplate. I managed to go all black by ordering a black faceplate from Nintendo when they still sold them.

Okay, I just ordered a faceplate direct from Nintendo, I had to call them.

They only have the camo and ladybug faceplates. I ordered a camo. Total with shipping came to about $7.50, I think. But I'm still thinking about returning my GBM to find one without dead pixels :-(.
