The cinematography again was just on fucking point. The way the entire first part of the episode was filmed during the trial was absolute excellence.

Sense of time progression on this show in general is ass. Speaking as someone who binged 5 seasons in the Fall. Wasn't Jamie a prisoner of war for years even though it's like a season or so on the show? Trust me, it's one of the first things I bitched about to my friends who have been watching since the start.

That ship scene probably occurred months later. I doubt they crafted and attached all those golden dragon mastheads to the ships overnight either.
The final scene didn't happen the day after Varys met Olenna in Dorne.

It is a lot harder to do rime progression in a TV show, than let's say in a Book. What would you do? Plaster a date over the screen? Most people don't even know which year it is in the show right now. And if you put the scenes farther apart, then you end up with most of the plots scrammed into differents part of the season.

They didn't have to say it. Use the other information you know about her character. Stuff they've said many times throughout the show. You don't need everything spelled out for you.

The music in this episode was superb. For a show that already has amazing music, it still seemed like leagues above the norm.
