Malazan will never be a series. Never.
I know, I know...that's why I long for it so.
Anyway, FORWARD UNTO THE NEXT EPISODE THIS VERY WEEKEND! I hope David Nutter beings the fucking heat to the last two in this series.

Which episodes has Nutter directed in the past?
At this point should it just be put in the OP that book readers are not allowed to post?
Fake non-bookreader: I think Mellisandre will spawn an army of shadow tapdancers who will take over the seven kingdoms with the power of dance
Wrong reaction from a book-reader:
You read the books...don't spoil it for the good people here

PM to mod..."this poster has definitely read the books... he is spoiling stuff for people.
Why do you think the 5th books is called "Dance with Dragons" ?

Sunday is really taking its time to get here, freakin' A.
Oh Hai Guys!/brofist
The King in the North!
Oh Hai Guys!
Anyone else? Robb Stark people that is?
I was doing a rewatch of Sherlock a few weeks back and noticed that his wife plays one of Watson's girlfriends.
The boring teacher? For real?
I knew I had seen her somewhere before...
King in the North supporting checking in.
"Why should they rule over me and mine from some flowery seat in the South? What do they know of the Wall or the Wolfswood? Even their gods are wrong! Why shouldn't we rule ourselves again? It was the dragons we bowed to... and now the dragons are dead! There sits the only king I mean to bend my knee to-the King in the North!"
"Renly is not right!"
dammit! that book title just made me think thatthe dragons will stick around till then
good thing the other book titles don't hint at anything else
You best believe there'll be some crows eating in the next book.
Oh shit, I guessSam survives.

And that leaves the last two books, which obviously wont be written by the time the series catches up. GRRM has apparently told the showrunners how he'd like the story to play out.
I thought he told them how it plays out in case he dies. Would be... very interesting if they last two seasons came out before the last two books
I thought they've already said it's going to go for 7 seasons total.

If that's the case then they've obviously just decided to make up whatever ending they want. That should be interesting.
No way, even if the show passes the books towards the end, the writers will have access to whatever Martin has written to that point, and what is not finished Martin will fill in the blanks for them as far as where the show needs to end up.

I'm sad Renly's gone. He was pretty cool.

I don't see them pulling only two seasons out of A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons. Adapting those could be 4 seasons, easily. I'd imagine we'll get at least 3 seasons though.
Anyway, just my thoughts! We should probably drop the book talk though![]()
Where have you been man!Just watched the series from first episode to the latest episode over the past 2-3 weeks. Completely hooked, and caught up, just in time for S3 to end. Yay!
Never read the books.
We'll see if Martin gets that final book in any sort of shape by then, I guess. I'm sure he knows how it will end but how it does so could be up in the air. It's not like Martin hasn't written himself into corners before.
That antler crown must be the most uncomfortable thing to put on your head.
Imagine wearing that while on the iron throne. I'd rather sit in a briar patch.
I'm not sure if this is okay to post, but I think I can comfortably say that you don't want more than two seasons of FfC/DwD. They're both really slow.
