Perhaps someone knows of a guide that talks about actually using the D-Terminal cable, as I hear that's even easier than this.

I bought a "professionally modified" D-Terminal turned VGA cable for $75 bucks... I haven't used it for more than 30 minutes total

It works as it should but I hate the sharpness and detail of the image on my monitor, it brings out all the flaws in the visuals, so I stuck to playing on TV instead and that was money gone to waste on the cable. Here's hoping it works with Revolution too, maybe I'll use it then if I get a VGA capable TV in the future.

I bought one online for 50ish. Currently using it on my LCD TV and works great! The only annoying thing is that the sound has to be hooked up through composite cables.

does every game work with them ? or only those with progressive scan support ? and which games look the best ?

It works for all my games, although I only have one without progressive scan support (Tales of Symphonia). Some games I actually prefer to turn off prog scan because it's almost TOO sharp. Fzero looks ridiculous in widescreen and prog scan though.

i made one myself using the d-cable when i first got my cube.. works with all games fine (even ones without prog scan) and looks great through my projector

I'll see if i can find the guid i used - it really was pretty simple and i suck at soldering

ninge, please try to find that guide.

I've never been able to find anything but that really shitty translation for a component cable, and I'd love to make one out of a d-terminal cable.
