I'm not sure why this has become a thing, usually, you hear the "omg belle delphine is a genius" thing from the class slut, not ordinary people.
She's not studying to figure out the marketing possibilities of online sex or plotting to exploit the algorithm, she's a cosplay girl who makes ok pictures, and she's willing to do whatever. Her costume is actually pretty smart. When she takes all that make-up off and stops contorting her face I bet she is damn near unrecognizable to 99.99% of her fans. I think we can “respect the hussle", but not claim these people are some kind of analytic masterminds. They're almost definitely surrounded by image consultants and agents steering them in the right direction.
