Pics and info removed - got contacted by BENKE and I respect GR's copyrights!

Please remove the rest of the scans in this thread, we're gonna see the damn thing in a couple of hours. And please note that I didn't do the scans - got them from that link in the Ghost Recon 3 thread.

A bit more informations translated by my friend manager :
*It will be released in europe 7 days after USA
*December release in Japan
*Its released in less than six months
*Release games: Perfect Dark Zero, PGR3 and Kameo
*10-16 game titles at the release. 40 games after half a year.
*The Xbox Silver thingy is correct, it will be there, and free.
*You will be able to transfer stuff from an ipod.
*You will see TV thru your Xbox.
*It can stand up and lie down.
*When you watch DVD, some stuff in the console will automaticly shut down - so its more quiet.
*You load the batteries on the controllers up via USB-cable on Xbox. You can also use simple batteries.
*The round thingy on the controller = "The ring of light". Its actually a screen, which says if there are any updates on Xbox Live. Downl. content and such. It also says which controllers there are in your hands, which number.
*Rallisport Challenge 3 will be on Xbox 360.
*The Darkness from swedish Starbreeze (Riddick).
*Peter Moore confirms Halo 3.

Hey, awesome. Someone's dream from another controller thread is coming true ;)

Doesn't look like a screen to me... whoever predicted it would be channel select though.. kudos!

The bottom looks very Wavebird-ish. Rumble is good news... the pad and system look absolutely awesome in these publicity shots.

I'd of thought he means you can feed TV through the Xbox...

for the Media Center functions, like record

It's not a screen, that's a mistranslation. But it can change color.

Some rough translations by me:

Peter Moore:

We have nothing new planned from Square Enix, and I don't think there will be anything revealed at E3. But it would surprise me if anyone avoid to develope games for Xbox 360 this generation.

On Halo 3:

It's not the biggest surprise that that there will be another chapter about Master Chief on the new console. Bungie has worked on Halo3 ever since the finishing touches on Halo2. There is no doubt that the story will continue with Master Chief, and there will have a strong live presence with lots of surprises. We can't wait.

Look closely at the controller closeup. At the end of each point of the x, there is a number. I am guessing whichever player you are, that arm of the x lights up.

It's most likely a mistranslation. It's clear from the pictures that it's a button/standard light. It's function could be for anything, although to signal updates seems fine.

Stand up, lie down , no PS2-like stand

Memo to Microsoft: The PS2 doesn't need the stand to be positioned vertically.

I'd like some confirmation on the iPod connectivity. There was a very nice piece in Wired a few months ago about how iPods on Microsoft's campus were seriously grating on upper-level management, nevermind the digital media divisions that are trying to support devices that aren't iPods. Microsoft admitting defeat? Or does the article just imply "iPods and similar devices?"

Probably similar devices. Any mass storage USB device will work. It'll be funny if Microsoft actually includes iPod connectivity in it's PR going forward.

Memo to you: Sony wanted people to believe it did need it to be positioned vertically. Why would thye charge $20 for them starting from launch if they didn't?

Why wouldn't an ipod be compatible? It uses USB 2.0 for PC connections.

Cable service via xbox live maybe. Streaming television with record option.

Kind of what I was thinking. Maybe you can run your cable through the Xbox 360, with it having some kind of Tivo-like functions? Maybe record a show while you're playing a game? This would be very cool.

Because there's money in accessories, or have you not noticed the big, gaping memory card slots on the XBox 360? :P

You don't NEED the stand, anyone with enough brain power to flip the PS2 on its "side" could see that. Perhaps the stand offers some level of stability, though.

I was referring to exclusive iPod support, which most likely isn't the case. But the mention of "iPod support" in the translation struck me as odd, because the whole point of Microsoft's digital media group is to supplant the device with Microsoft-DRM supporting players.

The time of the widescreen games are upon us! Can I cope? I've got a HDTV, but I'm going to have to play with bars on the screen. I'm used to it with movies by now, I'll have to see if I can stand it with games.

So they halved the HDD size from what ourcolony showed? :/

But it just might be included in the base model, now that's a big plus.

Oh and I want please that controller...secularily. It's so damn beautiful *tear*

Ya know,

this could open up some very interesting game possibilities.

Have your character in-game turn on the TV and chill out, swith channels and the like.

Hell, you can now completely record your gameplay on one device and send it through Xbox Live to your friends.

According to the article, the two fans will react to what you are doing. For example turning off while watching a dvd movie.

Really nice feature, always thought xbox was loud.

i will expect that if xbox 360 has any tivo like features it will be done like a media center via the PC. It will get its feed from a capture card on the computer. I hope it doesn't require a media center PC, though... that would be a massive surprise and selling point if it only required XP.

Same here, I want to be able to transfer movies/music/pics to my X360 without having to buy a MCPC.
