Maybe this is a thinly veiled attempt at an 'Underrated games thread', but what game would you consider the game of the generation that isn't widely touted as such? This means no:
GTA, Halo, Metroid, Zelda, KOTOR, MGS, or any other triple-A, highly hyped game,

Ico would probably be mine, but if that's considered too high already, I'd go for Spider-man 2.
